Peyton and McFadden are the two that come to mind.
With Manning, it seemed like the media tried to find anyone BUT him, maybe because his legend was so big. People had talked about him going back to when he was 17 and unofficially working out with the Saints, and people were saying he was the best QB on the practice field those days.
I have no idea why McFadden was skipped over.

I like Shaun as much as anyone but he finished 7th in the voting. It’s not like he was shafted by Ron.
