Your list seems to reflect the coaches you hate, not necessarily the coaches other people hate. I never had a problem with Jackie Sherril or Spurrier

Maybe, but Spurrier was always a smart arse--("You can't spell Citrus without UT")....which caused a whole bunch of people to dislike his persona......hell, he even managed to infuriate Vandy fans, which is almost impossible to do.

Sherrill was hated by anybody who saw what he represented--Joe Paterno, mild-mannered gentleman that he is, once said publicly that Sherrill represented everything that was wrong with college football--although he doubtless would have been more hated had he coached at a program that was a serious threat to the powers-that-be or a traditional rival of any other SEC school.....which is in line with my point about people being more inclined to hate coaches associated with teams or programs they hate than with those they don't.

Has anybody ever hated a Vanderbilt coach, for instance?

I agree with what has been said about team hate reflecting onto the coach. For instance, because i live in louisiana, i dont like lsu more than i would had i lived in tennessee. That makes me think less positively of Miles. But now that i think about it, i dont dislike Les Miles, nor do i dislike LSU. It's just the dumb people i meet in louisiana (which every team has dumb fans.)

I don't like Saban anywhere he goes, but i respect him. I never knew enough about Spurrier to hate him, as i was too young to see him at Florida. If i wasn't a tennessee fan, i would probably hate kiffin just like everyone else, but i would still respect him because of his recruiting (i think.)

People hate Spurrier because he whipped arse and then talked shite about it, but he was still more or less respected.

No one respects Kiffin at all.

I hate Meyer just because. Don't really care one way or another about the rest of the SEC's coaches.

I actually like Saban.

I think a badass player/coach can talk shite all he wants. The only reason he ain't kicking arse now is because he is at South Carolina.

Saban comes off as a complete prick. His short stature makes it even more ridiculous. I never really liked him from the beginning. My dad was an Auburn grad and I always like Tubberville more and I was also just as much an Auburn fan as LSU. I didn't become a solid LSU fan until I started school and Saban was on the way out at that point.

Kiffin seems like a spoiled little bitch. It wouldn't have really been bad had he waited until he won something first. I think he will do well at UT.
