I heard this question asked on Knoxville radio. They are douchebags, in general, but that's beside the point. They said Kiffin is 4th and will never be hated more than Meyer, Saban, and Spurrier. I'd say Kiffin could be 1st. What say you?

Saban and Kiffin are a toss up for the top spot.

Kiffin has to be first. The rest of the order will depend on the fanbases.

Kiffin will have to win something before he can overtake the others. He should be glad to be mentioned together with the other three for any reason at this point.

i think that is true.
for example, there is a good chance Saban would not ba as hated if he had gone to a Kentucky or South Carolina. But seeing as how he went to a team with an already nationwide proclaimed obnoxious and unrealistic fanbase.. people just found even more reason to hate him.

Kiffin is the most hated because he hasn't even done shite yet, doesn't have a positive track record of his own yet, and he's STILL running his mouth.

I think its easier to list the coaches that everyone likes than hates, the hate list will have Saban, Petrino, Meyer, Kiffen, and Spurrier but what order?

Spurrier is universally hated. So was Jackie Sherrill.

Tuberville was widely hated until he was fired.

Saban is hated by LSU fans mostly--for obvious reasons--but more an object of admiration by fans of other teams, although I and some others hate what his pay package represents for the future of college football.

Nutt is hated by Arkansas fans for obvious reasons, but not by anybody else that I know of.

Meyer may be hated by some because he is an outsider, but that would be a small minority.

I don't think any of the other coaches are truly hated--the response you mentioned on a Knoxville station just reflects the hatred of UT fans for certain other teams, not coaches, per se......no accident that they mentioned the current coaches at Alabama and Florida and the former coach at Florida (who is a native of east Tennessee, to boot, just putting even more salt in the wound)

You really have to distinguish the two.

Why would anybody hate Kiffin? Nobody really knows anything about him.

If Kiffin succeeds he will be by far the most hated coach in the SEC.

See this list is kind of what I mean. Aubies will always all hate Bama's coach, no matter who it is. They hate Petrino because of the Tuberville thing. They probably hate Meyer for the same reason others would--he's a Yankee who has dared to invade our dear Southeastern Conference........Maybe that holds for Kiffin, too, and maybe that is what I am missing.......

Much like the University of South Carolina, ironically enough.

If Kiffin actually succeeds someone will probably kill him.

This isn't really true...I didn't hate Shula, Stallings or even Mike Price (I know he never coached a game)...I do hate Saban...but the hate existed long before he came to Bama...

Your list seems to reflect the coaches you hate, not necessarily the coaches other people hate. I never had a problem with Jackie Sherril or Spurrier.

If you made a list of the 4 most disliked coaches currently in the SEC, Saban would easily make the list

Nutt is hated by Arkansas fans, yes. Believe me there are other State fans that hate him as well.
