Vegas over/under on wins: Alabama @-9.5 is highest in SEC. The number doesn't include SEC championship, bowl or playoff games.

Over. I think you guys are set up for 10 wins. There is never that much of a fall off with you guys after a very good season.

For us, however, we shite the bed and go 8-5

2008- 12 regular season wins
2009- 12 regular season wins
2010- 9 regular season wins
2011- 11 regular season wins
2012- 11 regular season wins
2013- 11 regular season wins
2014- 11 regular season wins

I don't think there's any reason to think that reloading this year should be any harder than the past several years. The schedule is tough, and there's always the chance we have a season plagued by injury, but I think we manage at least 10 regular season wins. Who would the losses come from?

No chest bumping at all. Since his first year in Tuscaloosa, Saban has only had 1 year that wouldn't have covered the line. I honestly don't see a better bet out there at this point....they can actually lose 2 games and still cover!

I think Georgia and Auburn losses will happen

What could be loss #3? I don't see Bama losing at home.

9.5 is a good number - tough bet in my opinion. I would go over, but 9-3 could happen.

Not really that hard to find 3 decent chances at losses among these games:

@Auburn, UGA, A&M, and MSU
Home against LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas and UT
Neutral against Wisconsin with Alabama's QB starting for the first time.

The other road games at A&M and at MSU

Tennessee? I mean, normally no. But they catch Tenn. after playing UGA, Arkansas and at A&M. They could be pretty banged up going into Tennessee with three pretty good games leading up to it.

Even if you're right, they cover. I'm telling y'all, NO bet is bullet proof (that's why they call it gambling), but this is about as close as you're gonna get on an even money bet
(not counting juice), imo.

That hook ... man oh man that would worry me were I an Alabama fan. No chance for a push - it's like the bookies know something.

To be fair, the over 9.5 w's is at -145. So you have to think that Alabama has over a 60% chance of covering the 9.5 to make that a rational bet. Moneylines matter
