Noah may be a KR/ PR this season, but with how incredibly stacked 2e are at WR I just really don't see him getting much time at WR, unless it's 3th qtr scrub time against teams like GA Southern, Mizzou, and Mercer.

Agree mostly...but the way they are talking about his explosiveness and him helping us this year, and if you think about who among our WR's and RB's are that kind of explosive, he can bring a different dimension...that's the kind of guy you want to get the ball in space and see what he can do. I don't think they burn his RS just to have him participating a bit in ST's.

Moultry should get in the rotation. But again, we got Jeff Holland and Paul James at Buck who are both very good. We got a solid 2 MLB too. So whole Moultry will get time, it won't be a ton of it.

Disagree. Jeff Holland is a solid pass rusher and very good against the run. Paul James is a better pass rusher and based on the way he was playing in the Spring, not at 100%, he could be a really big bright spot...but neither of them are electric/explosive pass rushers as was Carl Lawson and Dee Ford. Word is, Moultry is that guy. I think he plays a lot this year and is the #1 most likely candidate for most playing time as a true freshman. If he does as well as they are hoping, this allows some of the bigger outside guys to rotate inside where depth is an issue.

Willie Gay - Because beast
Tucker Day - Because likely nobody else can hit a 15 yard FG

The reports are they are at the top of the freshman class. Probably the 2 most impressive true freshmen defenders so far.

But, take all that with a grain of salt. It does sound like Moses will play this year on ST and as a backup on defense.

Allen got some reps with the 1s in the scrimmage if I'm not mistaken. He will play this year, too.

True frosh Trey Smith will start every game on OL. Even for freshmen phenoms, he isn't normal.

Trey Smith will definitely start on the OL...the other True Freshman that will see a ton of snaps on the offense is Ty Chandler...While Kelly will be the starting RB...look for Chandler to get plenty of carries as well.

ILB Monty Rice- we have a great starting tandem in Roquan Smith and Natrez Patrick, but reports are that Rice is making it hard to keep off of the field.

Most underrated LB in last year's class. Between Markail Benton, Will Ignont, Tyler Taylor and Monty Rice, I was most disappointed AU didn't get Rice. Will be a stud for ya'll over the next 3-4 years

LSU has a special class . Elite across the board - and at positions of need. I think Chaisson, Jacoby Stevens and Edwards will have the stat lines that casual fans notice, but there will be so many contributors from this class .

The beauty of it is that it appears the class isn't just top- heavy, it's a super deep class and some of the guys doing the best weren't the most touted.

Looks like AU won't start any freshman this year. I think that's a credit to how much talent AU has returning. Don't have to rely on any freshman to be ready to go day 1

We will have plenty that contribute tho

#1 Big Cat Bryant | 6'5" | 224 lbs
- Will probably just be a pass rush specialist year one. Needs to put on some weight but sounds like he has taken coaching well so far from Garner and shown some things this fall.

#6 Devan Barrett | 6'0" | 185 lbs
- Battling for the 3rd RB spot. I think by end of season he's the clear #3 back. Really high on him. Similar to Tre Mason in running style. Supposedly closer to 200 lbs now after getting into strength program

#15 Jordyn Peters | 6'1" | 185 lbs
- After Markell Boston & Marlon Character transferred/dismissed AU has very little depth after Tray Matthews/Nick Ruffin/Stephen Roberts. Supposedly Peters has had an impressive fall. He earned AU offer after putting up some sick testing numbers. Could also see time at nickel. AU needs DB depth and sounds like Peters might be a guy that helps with that

#19 WR Noah Igbinoghene | 5'11" | 186 lbs
- Iggy has gotten the most hype of any freshman so far this camp. Dude is insanely fast and sounds like at a minimum will be used on special teams but will probably also get work in the slot. Bringing back the tradition of hard to pronounce AU wideout names. I think he's a better version of Terrell Zachary and will be used in similar ways

#55 LB T.D. Moultry | 6'2" | 240 lbs
- Dude I am most excited to see play this fall. Battled an injury early in camp but sounds like he's back. Garner wants to build some pass rushing packages for him. He's been working a bunch at the SAM for AU and has gotten a lot of positive reviews. Could end up being our breakout freshman this year

Other names to keep an eye on are Calvin Ashley, KJ Britt, Traivon Leonard, Chandler Wooten and Malik Willis

Chaisson may end up being better than Key. The reviews have been outstanding thus far.
