all are better than LSU's returning guys.
Making blanket homer assertions don't make it true. Explain to me, other than an arbitrary extra star on a recruiting database, why Cyrus right now is better than Faulk at LT?

Faulk
Collins
Lonergan
Williford
Hurst
Pretty bold to say that Bama is head and shoulders better than LSU.

To my knowledge but who knows how long that lasts.

LSU, not even close.
Which means another average year at QB for LSU

It's a double edged sword...

I said the four returning starters were the better ones. Cyrus hasn't started a game yet in the SEC. He'll be one of the top LTs yes, but Faulk is a beast.

Il take Lonergan over Jones at Center...

And you say that without realizing we have four returners as well. Or you did realize it, but still just chose to make a naive statement.

Faulk
Collins
Lonergan
Williford
Hurst
Faulk is better than Cyrus.
Warmack is better than Collins.
Jones is better than Lonergan.
Williford is slightly better than Steen.
Fluker is slightly better than Hurst, if only because Fluker is freakishly athletic for his size. Not to take away from Hurst, he is a great Olineman, but I'm giving Fluker the edge because of how athletic he is.

I acknowledged that LSU returned four starters. Most of Bama's are better though, from what we've seen. Will they be down the stretch? Who knows, but from what we've seen, Bama wins a lot of the individual match ups. It's the same reason you can say LSU's rbs are better, because they've shown more.

my penis is 10.5 inches long. thread over.

that's fair, also ware and ford both had more yrds last year than any back bama has on the current roster. then add a guy like hilliard who had 8 tds, and didn't even play a full year, and blue had alomost 540 yrds. LSU's backfield is stacked with guy's who played a lot last year. the offensive line is going to be very solid as well.

That's fair, my opinion is obviously different, but looking at Lonergan play and handle some of the Dlineman in the SEC he's legit.

Barrett Jones was an All-American at RG. He was an All-American at LT and an Outland Trophy winner. I don't think I would count him out at center.

We also return Josh Dworaczyk who didn't play a snap last year because he hurt his knee. He was our starter the previous two years (26 games).

Not counting him out. I think he is better suited for tackle but since I was talking about center I will stand by my comment that PJ Lonergan is the better center.

Am I the only one that finds it sad how TT just sits waiting for someone to talk to him to the point that he is on page 14 of an LSU/Alabama thread trying to make jokes about penis size?

No doubt. I was talking shite about Blue earlier and a few people took it to heart, but he's good. (Though I still say Hilliard/Ware/Ford are better.) I think that Mett, as a first year starter, won't put up more than say 2800 yards against the SEC if all of those backs are to get plenty of carries. Though if he stays for his Senior year (he'll be a Junior this year, correct?) he'll throw for at least 3300.
Question. Ware/Blue/Ford are Juniors, and Hilliard is a Senior, is this right? I'm going to go check, but some confirmation from an LSU fan would be nice, if they are all here in 2013 that just isn't fair.

Like I said when you recruit top RBs and top OLs it is a lot easier to make your RBs look stellar. I don't see a drop off for 'Bama, at all.
At Wisconsin they've had
John Clay... 3,412 yards on 686 carries (5.0 yards per carry) and scored 29 touchdowns in three seasons at Wisconsin.
PJ Hill... 3,942 yards and 42 touchdowns on 770 carries (5.1 ypc).
Anthony Davis also had a better career than Clay, rushing for 4,676 yards and 42 touchdowns from 2001-2004.
Brian Calhoun's 2005 campaign. Calhoun racked up 1,636 rushing yards, 571 receiving yards and 24 total touchdowns that season.
Link - of where I Just plagerised the frick out of it.
Montae Ball:
NCAA single season records
Most touchdowns, season: 39 tied (2011)
Most consecutive games with two or more touchdowns: 13 (2011)
Most points scored by non-kicker: 236 (2011)
Big Ten single season records
Most touchdowns: 39 (2011)
Wisconsin single season records
Most touchdowns: 39 (2011)
Most rushing touchdowns: 33 (2011)
Wisconsin career records
Highest average yards per rush: 5.82
Like Wisconsin, 'Bama is known for their OL and running ability. They'll always put up good numbers. It is safe to say. Will anyone ever be Trent. No, but they don't have to be. Could someone turn out better than trent. Sure. Mark Ingram was our best RB ever some could argue bc he won the Heisman. But, then Trent destroyed his school numbers. Someone could easily destroy Trents numbers and be just as productive running a different way.
Experience at RB is only good to pick up blitzes. IMO. Someone can come in and fill the gaps just as good and they will.
