Which team in the SEC is the most realistic darkhorse to win it in 2018?

For the likelies, we've got:

* Bama
* UGA
* Auburn

Besides these 3, which team in the rest of the field has the best chance of winning the SEC and why?

South Carolina and LSU would be next in line, but I don't think that's very realistic.

It WILL be Bama, Georgia or Auburn.

MS State. Returning starters, and Moorehead will be a good coach

For it to be South Carolina, I think they would have to play either an Auburn team or an A&M team. And of course, UGA would have to foul up (which is possible with the target on their back). Another team I see that *might* surprise could be Florida. But, I don't think Mullen has much talent to start off with.

What would that take I wonder? Bama falling apart (Tua going down with Jalen transferred and Mac turning into Greg McElroy AND all our RB's underperforming -- not likely) and Auburn not getting it done (always possible) while A&M never gets out of the gate (likely). Of course, LSU would have to not improve (very likely).

Mizzou isn't a darkhorse. We prefer to be considered a pigment non-specific equine. TIA.

Florida or USC.

MSU will be pretty good but it has to be a team out of the east considering uga is the only real obstacle. With the bullseye on their back uga could slip up this year.

Hmm as far as Mizzou goes, the word, impossible comes to mind?

Slim pickings. I guess Florida since I could see them winning the East and somehow pulling an upset in the title game.

Florida will have to be extreemly lucky to even finish second in the East this season.

Their spring game (yes, I know how everyone feels about spring games) was an absolute shite show. They don't have a QB and they could fall apart very quickly.

It's not likely IMO. Just think they would be the most complete team outside of Bama, AU, and UGA.

Obviously LSU. Vegas thinks so and they are usually pretty smart.

I think LSU, aTm, & UF are the only one with the adequate rosters. It's bad luck for first year coaches to overachieve eg. Sumlim.
