The challenge is title 9. Probably have to cut as many men as women sports

Well ... technically, with the NCAA now supporting transgender invasion of women's sports .... you're cutting men's while cutting women's.

Baseball, mens track would easily be first.

So if your school is 55% female and 45% male then you should have around 55% of your athletic scholarships go toward women and 45% toward men (there's a fudge factor built in there, but that's the general gist of it).

It favors schools who are willing to spend a lot of money on all sports (which so far has just been Stanford but in reality many schools COULD take less into their pockets and pay for all sports).

It also somewhat favors any schools with a higher percentage of male students than female. A&M is around 53% male and 47% female. Texas is 43% male and 57% female. UGA is 42% male and 58% female. Back before the courts put affirmative action out to pasture, you actually got affirmative action "points" to get into UGA for being male.

SEC should get in the lacosse game
Fully support as well. The upper middle class white kids from the Mid-Atlantic would get absolutely destroyed if the SEC decided to get into the LAX game.

La'daquon the gray shirt OLB and Connor the travel ball kid would wreck those players with IV at the end of their last names.

You'd trade. Maybe you don't want to admit, but you'd trade.

The Athletic Director U Athletic Department Power Index, powered by Athlete Viewpoint, continues with a look at the Southeastern Conference. The Athletic Department Power Index will evaluate the desirability of Athletic Director jobs in every Division I conference across the country.

It is nice that you have brought some objectivity to the discussion. It does not really enhance your argument on whipping us in everything. Furthermore, although subjective, Tuscaloosa (not the campus) is just awful while Fayetteville has been consistently rated in the top 10 - 20 places to live in the U.S.

But I thought everything is equal now? Or are we just pretending still?

Yes bama should strongly consider dropping baseball since y'all haven't been to Omaha in over 27 years.

You would choose from a list of sports with a big negative balance sheet, which is not unreasonable.

Men & women's track is incredibly costly, due the number of athletes on both teams & both teams travel to tourney's across the country. Can't swear for sure but I'd guess track teams have the most athletes on scholarship except for football. SEC baseball is too strong, just look at the number of teams on the playoffs & at Omaha. Not a coincidence that it's bama ranters who are pro dropping it; they suck & have sucked.
