LSU-Jennings who led LSU on a final drive against Arky and started the bowl game
Bama-Coker who was the back up at FSU and played in mop up duty last year
A&M-5 star HS QB with no college experience

LSU:
They have Jennings, Rivers, Rettig, and Harris. All great options.

Bama. Anything coker does above average is just gravy for bama.

Hell, we still have a former Penn State starter on the roster.

Well that's true, but he was pretty awful and universally hated up there.

Him, but I'm not saying he'll be the best. I'm saying he has the most talent around him to take pressure off of him.

Yeah, the title is misleading. This thread should read "Which SEC West Team Should Have the Most Confidence in Their New QB?" or "Which New Starting QB in the SEC West is Most Proven?"

Yeah. I mean, position wise, I feel like LSU is better off. They've got a guy who, albeit is not very good, has some starting experience at the D1 level, then Jennings, Rivers who's been in the program for awhile, and two extremely talented guys in Rettig and Harris.

What about a 4-star Sophomore QB who went 16-22 for 183 yards and 1 TD and rushed 7 times for 37 yards in 4 games (mopup duty)?

You're already labeling Jennings as "not very good", after one bad performance in a bowl game?
I understand he's a toss up at this point, but pump the breaks

Sam Houston State and UTEP are great Defenses.
What about when he went 1/5 VS SMU?
I'm just kidding Aggie fans.

I was talking about Rob Bolden.
I like Jennings, I still think he has a lot of potential.

He didn't play against Rice that was a different guy.

This would be my preference... biggest risk biggest reward

Although there will be legitimate competition for QB...something we haven't had in quite some time.
