So would I.
People hate on Baton Rouge but the north is the shitty part. Stu south of campus and west of the interstate and your safe.

Columbia, MO... Perfect in size, about 115,000 people. If you want to enjoy some of the amenities of a bigger city, its an 1 1/2 drive to KC or Stl. Columbia, is also consistently ranked in the top 10 for the "hardest working city" in the country. Crime has spiked recently (the only high-crime areas are on the outskirts of town. Extremely easy to avoid.)

i love all the people picking their college towns. i'm not sure how old some of you are, but living in most college towns 5+ years removed from college would be boring as hell 350 days out of the year

College Station and Gainesville have the most female students.

The allure of college students kind of wears off after you've grown up.

It really depends on the college town you're talking about, and what you prefer as entertainment. I love living in a college town.

Lemme guess, this is predominantly a thread where everyone chooses their school's town?

It's too bad she got banned awhile back. Everyone trashing her on here was a Rant pastime.

Why did she get banned? Was she eating too much bandwidth?

Probably her post on the Movies/TV board about pleasuring herself to 50 Shades of Grey.

I would've picked him for a Red Raider.
And apparently Boomhauer is based on a Louisianian Judge knew from the oil patch, I believe.

Kind of creepy, next you will be talking about Gainesville apartments having more accessible windows to look thru.

Isn't UF the only SEC campus to have an infamous serial killer?

You live in Mt. P? Yikes.. You must make a lot of money. I'm from the Charleston area.. Summerville to be exact.
I graduated college in 2012. Got a job as a TV producer at a local TV station in Charleston.. so I moved back home. Thank god I was from the area because I couldn't afford to move out of my parents house. Living at home sucked and commuting from Summerville to MtP wasn't fun either but I saved a lot of money during those 2 years at home.
Charleston is not a city for young professionals just starting out. It has one of the highest cost of living south of NYC..i never understood how those CofC students afforded to live downtown. It's too dang expensive to live anywhere nice. That was one of the things I missed most about Columbia.. It's so affordable and student friendly. My junior and senior year I rented a 3 bedroom/3 bath town home in a gated community for $900 a month.
I haven't found a better deal yet in Charleston or Charlotte where I live now..
