... maybe LSU, I'm not sure. They seemed to have a few internal issues this year. They may not have been capable of an undefeated season no matter what this year.

USCe loses one to Stanford, maybe.

0.

Stanford would own 90% of the SEC, since they already play SEC-ish ball. OU would have an offensive explosion every once in a while to take down the other 10%.

It isn't that bad of a schedule. Not a single no name team. Nothing to pound one's chest over, but nothing to be ashamed of either.

ETA: Stanford could beat any team in the SEC/country.

You have to look at the scores of each game, too. Notre Dame kept it close in so many games this year to teams that had no business being there. Example: Pittsburh and Purdue.

Only Bama would go undefeated. We are the best college football has to offer.

What was Stanford playing against UDUB when they lost?

LSU played SEC ish ball against Washington and won 41-3.

Not to evaluate the schedule.

No. Stanford lost to Washington, a team LSU toyed with. They beat San Jose St. by 3, Arizona by 6, a lousy Wash. St. team by 7. Best wins were over 9-5 UCLA by 3 who was blown out by Baylor in the Bowl, Wisconsin 8-6, & Oregon St. by 4, a team that was beaten by Texas in their Bowl. Oregon is a legit win.

And beat the best team in the country as well. I don't know that Stanford would "own" 90% of the SEC, but they could beat anybody in the SEC. The only team that would be significant favorites over Stanford is Bama. UGA, UF, USCe, aTm and LSU would all be very close, IMO.

Yet they beat Oregon, a team that would beat the better majority of SEC teams.

It's not a total cupcake schedule. Nine of those opponents went bowling, which is more than most of us faced.

But there are only a couple of seriously stout teams on that list; either division of the SEC has more.
