Missouri. It is a game in Missouri. Any loss should be considered very disappointing. We have never won an NCAAT game in STL. We have only won one NCAAT game in the state of Missouri and that was in KC in 1944.

Regular season Rick strikes again unfortunately

He strikes every tournament but overall he's mostly chalk with getting upset a round early mixed in.

1989 - 12 lost to 5 - chalk
1990 - 9 lost to 8 - chalk
1994 - 8 lost to 9 - chalk (don't really count 9 over 8 as upset)
1996 - 9 lost to 8 - chalk (the 8 was Georgia lol)
1997 - 4 lost to 1 - chalk (his first 2 tourney wins)
1998 - 6 lost to 11 - upset 1 round early
1999 - 7 lost to 10 - upset 1 round early
2000 - 5 lost to 4 - chalk
2001 - 6 lost to 11 - upset 1 round early
2002 - 6 lost to 2 - only time in his career he played an extra round
2003 - 1 lost to 3 - chalk (was in the final 4)
2004 - 3 lost to 7 - chalk (was in the sweet 16)
2005 - 8 lost to 9 - chalk (same as 1994)
2006 - 2 lost to 4 - chalk (was in elite 8)
2007 - 4 lost to 5 - upset 1 round early (with Durant by 19 points)
2008 - 2 lost to 1 - chalk (Memphis forfeited later)
2009 - 7 lost to 2 - chalk
2010 - 8 lost to 9 - chalk (3rd time lost as the 8)
2011 - 4 lost to 5 - chalk (only lost by 1 to AZ who made the elite 8 famous lizard gif)
2012 - 11 lost to 6 - chalk
2014 - 7 lost to 2 - chalk
2015 - 11 lost to 6 - chalk
2018 - 3 lost to 11 - upset 1 round early (Sister Jean's final 4 run)
2019 - 2 lost to 3 - chalk (at least forced OT)
2021 - 5 lost to 12 - upset 1 round early (Oregon State elite 8 run)
2022 - 3 lost to 11 - upset 1 round early
2023 - 4 lost to 9 - chalk (was sweet 16 and Fla Atl went to FF)
2024 - 2 lost to 1 - chalk
2025 - 2 lost to 1 - chalk

So you can see he's a massive fan of chalk, probably the most consistent coach in NCAA tournament history. He frequently loses to lower seeds but it is usually when the seed is 1 lower or he still bows out when he was seeded to do so. Only once has he ever played 1 additional round more than his seed forecast (2002 TJ Ford over Mississippi State).

Given Tennessee is a 6 seed this year there is a chance he loses to Miami (OH) but he for sure will lose to the Virginia/Wright State winner if he does advance.

Summary:
Wins over someone seeded higher: 1
Losses to team seeded more than 1 seed away: 6
Times he has lost more than 1 round early: 0

The move to the SEC has also been the death knell of your basketball program as I believe you are 0-for-tournament as an SEC member right?

That is incorrect.

I couldn't believe how poorly Georgia was shooting the ball.

Auburn for not being selected for tourney after UT beat down of Miam of Ohio. Bruce knew what he was talking about.
