Now you get to choose your sauce though, and how much you want to put on it.

Auburn and LSU were the best.

Tennessee and Florida the worst.

Had a blast with the gumps in T town. Also had a really good time with Auburn fans.

Florida is by far the worst. I will gladly go back to every SEC town I have been to except for Gainesville. It's just a different type of fan down there. Tailgating sucked and the people were just awful.

I went in 2008. Before the game the UF fans were great. They all treated us really well. After they beat the living shite out of us 51- 21, they were unbearable. The "walk of shame" to the exits out of the stadium was beyond cruel. But, we played it up with them and made the best out of a truly miserable situation.

I'm going this year and am pretty excited. You usually get what you deserve at an away game if respectful outside of the few obnoxious fraternity douches..

Aubarn actually. They were cool before the game. Drank beers with us, hung out at our tailgate.

They did get pissed off after the game in 2010 when I started shouting drunken obscenities at them.

I've only ever been to the Auburn and Georgia game (always had a great time, and never had any problems with their fans. the banter was fun and good spirited)

Went to auburn in 06 and had a great time friday night. All the florida people basically ended up at one bar so not being in the vast minority probably helped. Then there was the fiasco of a game and i left as soon as it was over. Was not sticking around to hear another word after that incomplete pass that was ruled a fumble.

Havent to been an away game either, but have had nice, cordial conversations with the others. Actually, I got to chat with a nice man who was an LSU fan at Detroit airport. UGA fans were pretty cool, although I like giving them a hard time

As for UF fans, I've heard the stories before. I, myself, am pretty chill. Not interested in starting shite, and usually, I'll nod and walk along

1. Georgia - really classy nice people. athens is one of the greatest college towns. so much fun

2. Auburn - Nice fans, pretty fun considering you're in auburn, al. I had a great time.

3. Kentucky

eta: florida fans are the worst, but followed by the young alabama fans. i always have a bad experience. the people are very inhospitable and rude. I went to the dke house expecting to feel welcome and they jumped two of my friends for no reason. the bama fans at the game also threw drinks at us when we were losing. i like the older fans though.

Ole Miss by far. A group took us in at the Grove, got us into the game for free, even found us a place to stay that night.

We were broke college kids and they let us crash on some couches. Hell of a lot better than trying to drive back to Nashville after drinking all day.

There's no denying that tailgating is poor compared to some schools. We just don't have wide open spaces to do it in.

The "people" are fine. The drunks are not.

Ole miss was cool last year, but they sucked so they didn't have much to be dicks about

Auburn in the Cam year was fun, talked shite with us but it was understood fun and games, never got serious

Bama I have had good and bad experiences with them.
At Bama in 07 and this past year was hostile but fun for the most part. Some real shite heads, but I'm sure LSU has those guys too.
At the national championship I had a great time with some Bama fans

Fla fans suck at home games

I had a great time on my trips to Auburn, Arkansas, and UT.

Miss St was so-so.

The only bad experience I've ever had with an SEC fan base was a dude from LSU (early thirties) screaming tiger bait in my gf's face AFTER the national championship game. Fortunately, the guy's friends grabbed him and apologized before shite went down. We're headed to Baton Rouge in November and I'm hoping to have some of the awesome experiences described in this thread.
