One of yall posted a thread about yell practice last weekend. The thread titled "number 1 tradition in college football" or something like that. I have no problem with the thread just replying to this.

Seriously, when's the last time an aggy has brought them up on this board?

So you're not relevant or better than those two teams because they both beat you last year?
If that was the case there would be no reason to play the games.
No
LSU wasn't as relevant as those two because of a lack of titles over the last 3 seasons.
You see, that's the difference between our fanbases. Most Aggys consider 2012 a success because of s top 10 finish and a victory over the eventual national champ. Most LSU fans don't see 2012-2014 as successful seasons because of a lack of titles.

I vote for Auburn.
Runner up is SC.

So over a week ago and a non-aggy posted about them today?
Was I wrong? lol
Midnight yell is pretty sweet if you look at it objectively.
If it happened at your school, y'all would be hyped too.
DEF not the #1 though

Watching football every year for you must suck donkey dick.
I enjoy my team when they exceed my expectations, and any aggy who expected titles before our HC even had a recruiting class go through his program is crazy.
Do you legit stop caring about football for decades at a time?
ETA: Also, if LF7 played like he did against ND all season last year and won a heisman as a freshman, you wouldn't have talked about it at all over the off-season or this year? Honestly man, your expectations of football fans are extremely unrealistic.

A team who has won a national championship in recent years doesn't qualify.
South Carolina isn't really cocky and arrogant enough to qualify
Clemson would be a prime candidate if they were in the SEC

I'm 26. LSU has been a contender in most years since I've been old enough to care.
My opinion will change when LSU hits an extended rough patch, just like all fans. For right now, however, success equals a title, even if it's just a divisional one.

We've been in this conference for 4 years and haven't won it.
Neither have you.
You have been upset for 4 years and I haven't, that's a you problem bro.

But let me ask you this. On average how many people show up to that(def not 50k on average)? I feel if LSU did it no one would show up. We don't emphasize our cheers and chants. Everybody just knows them and they're fun within the game. The students have their own tradition night before the game and it involves going to Tigerland. On a totally unbiased pov, I feel like your school implemented these traditions to create school spirit (duh) but other schools find that weird because they don't need outlandish traditions to get a following. I'm not trying to piss aggies off just spitting my piece on how I see it. I don't think there is such thing as "the number 1 tradition"
I come in peace

Correlation does not equal causation.
Our school spirit can be argued to drive the attendance to 50k just as easily as it can be said that the 50k improves school spirit.

Unlike many people here, my mood doesn't hinder on the success of LSU football.
I just don't consider mediocrity successful.

Texas A&M easily the most wannabe of all times. No one talks as much shite with only medioctrity to back it up.

Actually think this is a tie with us beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. Thousands of LSU fans said that was their best win all year and is one of their biggest accomplishments since we joined the SEC.

Texas A&M has a history comparable with Syracuse and Illinois, but talks as if they're Alabama.
