Clear pick for LSU is Valentine.
Agree with this 1000%. He will be the guy on the DL that Arkansas and Alabama fans will say "WHO THE HELL IS THAT?" when we play them because he'll be the one blowing plays up on the interior. A guy we've been missing for years to play the power run teams.

Technically, I don't think Deatrich Wise was a starter, so I'll go with him, R.Williams III, and Whaley

That was always Michael Vicks problem, he had the arm strength to throw it as far as he wanted, but couldnt hit a barn with the short or intermediate patterns. For your sake Harris better not have a similar affliction.

I think Brandon Harris can get it done. He just needs to settle down and play. I think getting a full season in the SEC will help with that. Some qbs don't need that year and others do.

I hope Travonte Valentine is that guy. We NEED a force in the middle to compete against the big dogs.

The funniest thing about this thread is that whoever we all pick, it will still be someone else way off the radar.
Can't wait to see who steps up around the league this year.

Good pick with tim williams. Being a starter he might avg two tackles a game this year.

with all those DBs leaving the capstone will the tide be able to play any kind of dime package?
Will walkons have to fillout the fifth and sixth DB slots?

A&M's defensive tackles. Not sure who starts, but they will be better than the 2 converted defensive ends playing the position we had last year.
Really excited to see what the acquisition of coach David Turner from MSU does for Daylon Mack, KeKe, Hardreck Walker, Zaycoven Henderson, and TD Moton.

As pointed out on this forum by several other posters, we have a lot of candidates for breakouts. Hope at least some of them actually come through.
