Well, Tennessee is that high because they've played the following games
Pass Attempts Against
Georgia Tech : 10
Indiana State : 19
Georgia : 17
Kentucky : 16
However, Tennessee has been above average in pass defense. But not Top 5 good. That's just due to playing a bunch of teams who saw they could run it down the Vols throats.
#38 in QB Rating Against
#43 in Yards Per Attempt Against
Respectable numbers

George, I know you can't stand UT being ranked higher than Bammer in any category but come on don't let that point fly over your head.

In terms of Pass Defense, Georgia's Opponents/Future Opponents look like this (vs P5 teams)
QB Rating Against vs P5
#3 Alabama (91.63)
#21 Notre Dame (114.05)
#23 Auburn (114.93)
#25 Mississippi State (117.34)
#44 South Carolina (126.71)
#47 Tennessee (128.94)
#59 Florida (132.94)
#68 Vanderbilt (137.04)
#93 Missouri (155.76)
Auburn will be about like Notre Dame, except they also average 2.89 sacks per game (#17) while Notre Dame only averages 2.22 (#46). It will be a big test for him and Cheney.

Hahaha I don't care about that, obviously, just trying to add context to where Tennessee ranks in lieu of the bigger discussion about Fromm vs Auburn.

Do they though?
bet they have a ton of interceptions. maybe not elite like they were, but they are still not bad. I would guess that they had 1 or 3 really bad games?

We go through spurts, where we go to the LOS, look to the sideline for the play, then run the play without a huddle.

Stephen Johnson (UK) : 171.78 Rating, 18/27, 227 yards, 8.1 YPA, 3 TD/0 INT
Kyle Shurmur (VAN) : 125.19 Rating, 18/40, 264 yards, 6.6 YPA, 1 TD/0 INT
Danny Etling (LSU) : 142.51 Rating, 9/16, 125 yards, 7.8 YPA, 1 TD/0 INT
Drew Lock (MIZ) : 200.25 Rating, 15/21, 228 yards, 10.9 YPA, 3 TD/1 INT
They've gotten torched pretty bad in SEC play.

While SOG's assessment of pass attempts is correct, both the # of passing yards allowed and the # of pass attempts against UTk are a function of giving up an average of 250 rushing yards per game as much as it is having a good secondary.

Don't believe UT was the only team in the discussion nor do adjusted stats always represent the truth. You also dissed two other top 50 secondaries.

Wow! I am surprised ND is 90th. maybe they build a lead and the other team just starts throwing?
That's happened in a lot of their games

He was very bad against Tennessee, and if we even had an inkling of talent at CB we would have had 3 first quarter INTs vs Georgia.
Auburn have the front 7 to slow down Georgia, so we shall see

I want to see the damn good AU team show up and throttle the dawgs so we don't have more coach searches

SOG is the GOAT!
Great post! Proving just how shitty the competition has been for UGA. Sure hope Auburn, who is far more tested, shows them how playing a real schedule prepares a team for greatness.

Imagine how he'll shite the bed against a real defense, with an elite front 7 and pass rush, in an environment as hostile as JHS if he has such shite numbers against 3/4 shite defenses... Georgia and Grimm, are FUUUUCCKED

You’ve posted less and less as the season wore on..I’d bet that by the time your jackets lose to UGA you disappear altogether. The GT cicadas, only heard from once every 7 years or so.

Jake Fromm throws less than 15 passes and Dawgs steam roll the pussies on the plains...

This would have made a nice (whatever the Auburn version of a sail or grind is) thread
