Vs. Alabama 2012 our first year in the SEC- nobody gave us a shot and we beat them in their house. Not really a rivalry, but it was fun.
And then the next year hung 40+ on them in a game down to the wire.

Not so much a rival team but a rival coach- making Spurrier quit football after UGA absolutely decimated USCjr in Athens 2 years ago was glorious.
Um, it was LSU, not Georgia, that made him quit.

Yes, but it was a couple of days after a loss to LSU that he actually quit.

Jesus, how many rivals do we have??? Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, and now Texas A&M? Lol
Come on in Ole Miss.
Come on in Ole Miss.

Since Mullen has owned and dominated Ole Miss during his tenure, I'd say most of the egg bowls of this MSU era.

It comes with that whole "dynasty" thing.

Valid.
Clemson fans are the most ridiculous. "Spurrier quit to avoid another arse beating in November"

anyone that knows anything about Spurrier knew he was "over it all" after Carolina beat Vanderbilt in Nashville 48-34 in 2014. just watch his post-game presser. it was a 14 point USC victory that tipped the scales.
I'll second Sunbeam's pick for the '87 "Rodney" game at W-B. Tractor Danny was in complete disbelief JoMO and Joe Lee could cut his team's arse that night until the pre-game warmups/2001. it was very much the same ambush environment UGa waltzed into at W-B in 2012.

I bet they did. Not much else to think about in Nebraska.

2013 vs LSU. LSU came to Oxford ranked #6 and half of our defensive starters were out injured. We ended up winning 27-24. Our run defense was trash due to injuries and Les came out throwing. After three picks in the first half, he finally started running the ball and made the game close.

1992 vs. Clemson at Frank Howard Field. We hadn't beaten them since 1987. We'd had a player revolt earlier that year that almost ended in Sparky Woods getting canned. We were big underdogs and starting a young and brash freshman with as glorious a mullet as Columbia had ever seen. We won 24-13. I remember the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties against Taneyhill and Asim Penny for excessive celebration. I remember the home run swing and celebrating at the tiger paw. I remember Brandon Bennett dancing and doing the Q-Dog sign in front of their redneck fans. What a day that was.

Were you a student? That was my senior year and the last tater game I cheered at.

63-17 win over Scar was fun, until 56-7 happened this past year.
But as far as a real rival that is actually competitive and not just because we are in the same state, beating FSU last year in Doak Campbell to secure the division was pretty awesome.

Nope. I was a youngster. That was the first Gamecock win against Clemson I remember since I was only a toddler in 1987.

The 36-0 clown stomping of Tubbs & AU in '08 after 6 straight losses to AU was pretty fun to watch.

Then why the hell are you on an SEC Board? I'll tell you why, because the South Carolina Gamecocks live in your head year round. Your fans truly are the saddest people in this state. Y'all used to at least be some good ole rednecks with whom you could have a good time, but now your fans are the mega-church, self righteous types who inundate Facebook with your coach's moralistic cliches and act like religious fanatics when you dare disagree with him. There's a reason why fans of almost all the SEC teams can't stand y'all.

Yep you are so right. By looking at the direction of both teams, recruiting, and everything going on, clemson fans should be terrified of playing scar and thinking about them hahahahaha I just enjoy coming on a message board and calling y'all on bullshite and y'all getting pissed off and crying about it. You say Clemson fans always think about Scar, but every time I see a thread like this I see a cock fan boasting about beating clemson a few times and trying to remind everybody of it so you don't keep becoming more and more irrelevant. Beating clemson is the fricking greatest accomplishment for you wannabes, shut the frick up

Nope.
Bammer - best game was "Honk of you sacked Brodie" because we dominated all day. So much fun.
Georgia - the rout in 2004. We destroyed a good uga team. They had no answer.
