You sound offended TTs. 9-3 then, good season for UK as our expectations are low

Are they ranked in the top 10 to start the year? Is the answer yes? Let's look at the evidence over the last 10 seasons.
2010 - Preseason 5th in AP: 5-7 and unranked
2011 - As high as 11th in AP: 8-5 and unranked
2012 - Preseason 15th in AP: 9-4 and 19th
2013 - Preseason 15th in AP: 8-5 and unranked
2014 - Never ranked: 6-7 and unranked
2015 - Never ranked: 5-7 and unranked
2016 - Week 2 10th in AP: 5-7 and unranked
2017 - Preseason 23rd in AP: Maryland happened
2018 - Preseason 23rd in AP: 9th in Final
Only once over the last 10 seasons did they finish higher than they started.

I thought you guys were saying 10 wins this year?
Posted on 4/26/19 at 3:35 pm to thatguy45
To be fair. We went 8-4 the year where we switched coaches mid way. Other than that last time was ‘14 I think

You already know...corn dog county will not be happy when 2019 is over...

A&M isn't winning 10 games this year.

Aggies could definitely win 10 games including a bowl game. I don't see them beating Bama, Clemson or Georgia, though.

Honest question:
Do you think it's more disappointing to finish a few games below your expected win total, or to lose in the national championship game?
I don't think there's any comparison Bama has the best chance for the biggest disappointment, by far. That's a compliment, btw, not a flame

2016 wasn't that long ago. 2014 wasn't either.

2014 is years ago. We didn’t have a coach for half of 2016 so I don’t really consider it to be either coach’s season

Compared to their expectations going in to the year...
LSU, easily.

Bama.
Lose to LSU.
Won’t win the West.
No more mulligans because of 44-16.
No playoffs.
Decline is real.

Hype coming off bowl wins over Michigan often lead to disappointment, so start there.
