That's inapposite to what he's saying, friend.

Did you get the thrust of what he was saying? It's the idea that A&M is dependent on one guy, kinda like 2010 AU.

Are we good?

Let me know if not and we'll go over it again.

FIFY

Also interesting that the strength of 2010 AU (except Cam) was Tuberville's seniors.

When you can't win the argument, act like a condescending jackass. Solid approach.

A couple things.

1) Sumlin had success at UH -- a good deal of it. Chiz won what, 3 or 4 games at ISU?

2) The sheer level of shittyness that possesed Chizik was so extreme that we should never expect to see anything like it again. Indeed, most any coach in the game could have avoided the cliff over which Chiz drove that program. Even Ed Orgeron.

He would have set them up perfectly for Houston Nutt to come in and win decently for two years....

Who knows?

I think we all understand that, regardless of how dependent 2010 AU was on Cam, the suckitude it reached the years following is astonishing. That's the point.

But you are correct in observing that 2010 AU and 2012 A&M both had really good QBs who won the Heisman.

I don't remember chiz being able to sell hummers like ed could, although the whole no teeth thing would imply he's qualified

in all honestly i expect sumlin to be much better than chiz turned out, but you and yours can be so exceedingly annoying it's hard to admit at times.

i don't however think he's some super god coach- it takes more than one year with a cam-like player to annoint him anything other than simply a promising coach. and you can argue all you want about having a great team outside of jff and your oline but imo it's yet to be determined.

It's what we do. And like it or not, it's what Arky does as well.

so just to wrap this up and summerize

Sumlin >> Chiz
Because:
Sumlin made the cotton bowl with a heisman winner while all chiz could do was win a championship. And this was all because aTm was stacked on the oline and had 1 good defensive player, while auburn was hamstrung by being very good on the oline and having only 1 goo defensive player.

I think i'm starting to understand this aggie logic.
