That was preseason rank right?
Posted on 1/30/12 at 2:57 pm to dkreller
preseason 11-14 and we climbed to 4 when a shitton of teams lost early in the season. And to be honest, if you look at all the talent on that 09 team, they deserved that ranking. We just had a rodeo clown running our program.
Haters gon hate but hopefully we got a guy now who is gonna work his arse off and do things the right way.

I sense a lot of butthurt in this statement.

Tennessee fans have a pretty negative outlook on their coaching staff, they're able to joke about how some of their players are frickheads, etc.

Remove Florida from that list- in any given year, they can contend for Atlanta.
But, at the moment, you're right about us and Tennessee. They are certainly not used to failures they've been suffering lately, whereas us Rebels...well....
But we did make back to back Cotton bowls. And the 2008 season featured wins over the eventual national champions as well as the previous year's national champion. No, we've not made Atlanta, but those achievements are very good, albeit, not great.

One thing we know for sure, you can't really say Ole Miss stopped sugarcoating it until after 2003:

Definitely UT. It's sad watching some of their fans plead for recognition by the Bama fans on here.
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. They really are UAt's little brother. With them hiring their coaches, it gets embarrassing sometimes.

It's all part of the plan. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
