Well, it gives me an entre to pass along one of my favorite jokes.
Boudreaux is back in the bayou, just returned from the army. Thibodeaux sees him walking by and yells out for him to come up to the porch.
"Boudreaux, I hear you just got back home from the armee!"
"Dat's right, Thibodeaux."
"Boudreaux, I hear in dat dere armee, you had to run!"
"Dat's right, Thibodeaux, but I growed up here and had to run everywhere, so that din't botha me."
"Boudreaux, I hear in dat dere armee, you had to swim!"
"Dat's true, Thibodeaux, but I had to learn to outswim the gators here in the bayou, so dat din't botha me."
"Boudreaux, I hear in dat dere armee, you had to jump out of a aeroplane!"
"Oh, dat's right Thibodeaux. That was a whole otha thing."
"Tell me, Boudreaux."
"Well, one day, we go up dere in dat aeroplane, and I was the first in line to jump. We got over the jump zone, and dis red light comes on.
"Big black drill sergeant says 'Everybody UP!', so we all stood up.
"Big black drill sergeant says 'Everybody ON!', so we all hooked on to the wire.
"Then the green light comes on, and big black drill sergeant looks at me and says 'Jump!'. I looked out dat door and said 'Nuh uh.'"
Big black drill sergeant gets closer to me and says 'Jump!'. I looked out dat door again and said 'Nuuuh uh.'"
"Big black drill sergeant gets right in my face and whispers, 'Private, I got mahsef a 10 inch long black dick, and if you don't jump I'm gonna shove it right up your arse."
Thibodeaux says, "Did you jump?"
"I did a little at first."
