Which backup QB tonight would be better?

If UGA has to go to their backup, Eason has meaningful game experience.

If Bama has to go with Tua, some Bama fans think he is better than Jalen.

So, who would take a lesser step backwards? which team would still be OK? Would it matter?

I sure hope no one gets hurt on either side, just really this is a thread about which backup QB could play well enough to lead his team to a win.

I mean... did you see how good Tua looked against Mercer? Duh!

Eason is the obvious answer, IMO. He was the unquestioned starter, and a very good one, prior to his injury. Tua has seen mop up time against trash teams and threw a pick six against UT. Meh.

Not really relevant to the OP, but considering everything that happened this season with Eason and Fromm, it would probably be one of the coolest championship stories in college football history if Fromm went down early and Eason led UGA to a win.

You're an idiot! There would be nothing cool about Fromm going down early.

"If"

Key word there, pal.

Not saying I want Fromm to get hurt. The OP was asking which backup QB would be better if they had to play.

I don't think he meant that it'd be cool if Fromm got injured, only that if that happened and Eason came in and balled out, it would add symmetry to the season and bring a unique facet to the game.

Ok, ok...I overreacted! Let's just not mention Fromm and injury in the same sentence.
