I wish, ours is controlled partially by elected officials across the state...its so dumb. I get why it used to be that when education as a state school was all that mattered...but politicians don't care about the university now. They never attend meetings

Auburn is clearly run by boosters, primarily Yella Wood
if this were true we would have replaced Tubs with Houston Nutt

Boosters ran off Mack Brown after the most success they’ve ever had

Lol you’re like 12 right? Listen kid There’s more to handling boosters than not getting run out of town(which also didn’t happen). It’s about not letting them interfere while still donating etc. really his last four seasons he 5-7 9-4 8-5 8-5. He was given ample time to turn things around.

Briefly Arkansas was and we got Chad Morris out of it. Not our finest hour.

if this were still the case, Durkin would be Auburn's head coach

For example. Alabama used to be run by boosters. Primarily Paul Bryant, Jr; but there were others (see the Means debacle). That ended with Nick Saban, and it doesn’t appear to have returned yet.

Auburn is clearly run by boosters, primarily Yella Wood. LSU has become a Cane’s franchise. Florida has the Disney Gators. Clearly the two Texas schools have the oil tycoons pulling strings. What other programs are beholden to boosters and who are they?

it's not nearly as bad as it was when mack and dodds were running the program. CDC has a much tighter grip on the AD. I'm sure he gets a lot of unwanted feedback from the billionaires. Especially with NIL money needed.

Everybody gives our AD crap, but he shields our coaches from many of the boosters. We have some very opinionated billionaires.

Graves is not in top 3 of LSU's largest boosters gump

I dont think he was prior to the BK firing/Lane hiring. Apparently he has jumped on board, I know he didn't attend LSU for undergrad but I think he has a masters from LSU no?
