IMO LSU fans are putting too much hype into LF but he will be good by his JR year. Hand from Bama is my pick.

Speedy and Fournette both are the real deal.
When was the last time a west coast QB worked out in the SEC? Maybe Kyle Allen is getting a little too much hype

No. C-Rob maybe, but not Hand.

I'm gonna go and say Kalvarez Bessent.

I actually met him at 17-16 and he was a really nice kid.

clifton Garrett. He is the number 1 MLB on some boards coming out of high schools. When i watched the AA game he was in, he didn't do anything at all. Actually kenney young looked much better.

Fournette will not be a bust
Barring injury, he's not likely to be a bust, but the expectations being placed on him by many fans are unreal. He'd have to be the greatest running back in NCAA history to match the plaudits some LSU fans are heaping on him. I get the excitement, but the older fans should know better -- we've all seen can't-miss prospects struggle for a while when they reach the next level, be it college or the pros. LF is going to be running into some damned good defenses over his college career.
Edit: My pick for bust is Lorenzo Carter. He has the tools, but his tapes have been underwhelming. I suspect he's going to have a very tough adjustment to the college game.

the expectations placed on fournette are no different the top prospects going to other schools. get real dude.

besides, running backs are the least likely to be a bust. same thing with skill positions. Tackles and oline/qb have the highest margin for bust.

Not true! Go back and check the LF threads

Garrett was John Chavis's number one guy on his defensive board for the whole class. He was playing hurt all week at the AAG. He's a stud

Fournettle is legit. Unless he goes off the reservation and gets arrested he will be in the mix for quite a while.

Speaking as someone looking from the outside, the expectations being placed on LF by a fair percentage of LSU fans seem significantly more unrealistic than pretty much any recruit I can recall. Certainly not all of you, but if you honestly haven't noticed the extremity of the hype in certain circles, well, there's not going to be anything I can say to convince you otherwise. Trust me, I'm not alone in noticing it.

Roc Thomas. Kid is injury prone and probably wont make it through an entire season at the college level.
