Wow... clutch in the 9th inning. Not sure what FSU coach was thinking because Tenner was knocking the cover off those curveballs. Good lord. Bats are next level hot.

Cannot score 11 runs and lose a game.. Cannot take a 3 run lead into the bottom of the 9th and lose. FSU faces after the game said it all. shocked and reeling. FSU is fricking done.

Congrats to the VOLS. Hell of a comeback that started well before the 9th. I Awesome for the fans.

It was still a strike and any sec team would have melted over that non call

Vols threw many many strikes last night that weren’t called.

Of course

But I'm certain Tennessee could point to missed calls themselves. Don't put yourself in a situation to let officials cost you like that.

AKA don't give up 4 runs in the 9th inning

Just returned to the board this morning. The thread titles on the first couple of pages alone are pure entertainment. The premature schadenfreude was almost as epic as that comeback.

Congrats Vols.

Go CATS!

Go Ags!

I almost asked "no love for the gators?" and then realized I need my coffee for the morning

Good luck to you all

Sure. The FSU coach choosing to leave the guy in the game that was getting his pitches absolutely smoked had nothing to do with it.

Not any cheap hits in the bottom of the ninth. All hard hit.

I’m not melting..
I don’t have skin in the game either way..

that was strike 3 and the game should have been over..

it was a good comeback up to that point.. but they should have lost.. anything after that is bullshite in my eyes.. should have never had the chance

You just like to hear yourself talk and your opinions are usually garbage

It wasn’t a strike. The pitch was too far inside to be called a strike and the batter did check his swing. You clowns forgot the bases are setup like a diamond and most hitters stand in a closed position at the plate. This position at the plate creates about a 45 degree angle between the batter and the base line. The Tennessee batters bat never crossed the 3rd base line- maybe close but he didn’t cross. Correct call was made.

Your jilted lover routine of not having a shot at landing Vitello is awfully cute to watch.

Going into the bottom of the 9th I text someone FSU was going to choke it off. On the check swing I immediately say he went. Once that wasn't called, i knew it was all over. Top of the vol lineup swings it too well.

I wasn’t referring to you sir because you seemed reasonable until the GFY comment. My reference was to the other posters who were so sure it was a strike.

It was one of the best CWS games I've seen in several seasons. Vols fought back and back and showed why they are ranked #1. Let's see if they keep it going against UNC.

Can’t decide if it was good hitting or just lousy relief pitching….probably, a little of both. Tough game to lose, great one to win.
