mark Barron accomplished more than honey badger will ever accomplish. he made 3x as many all-conference teams, twice as many all-American teams, won multiple national championships, was drafted higher, didn't shite the bed in the biggest game of his life, and never was too trashy Ti stay on school. those are just the facts. dwi, ricky.

Mathieu is a helluva player but hes an idiot. Period. You know damn well the coaches spelled it out to him loud and clear "IF YOU FAIL ONE MORE DRUG TEST YOU WILL BE DISMISSED FROM THE TEAM." Yet he still failed another drug test.
Mathieu needs to take a long look in the mirror and do some soul searching. He needs to get his priorities straight. If he wishes to stay at LSU he should be able to take classes toward his degree. He should also be able to prove himself worthy of another shot to play for the football team. If he can "walk the line" set forth by the Athletic Department and adhere to their strict and clear guidelines--such as frequent and random drug tests, gpa requirements, counseling etc. he should have the opportunity to play for the team again after sitting out for an entire year, imo.

You're wrong bro, own up to it. Javier isn't #1 for anything. Additionally, TM7 had a TD every 12.5 punt returns vs. JA's 17.85, and had 17 yards per return vs. JA's 14 yards per return.
Javy wasn't even as good of a special teamer as Tyrann Mathieu, much less a DB.
ETA: I guess JA is all-time #1 just like Bama has 20 national championships
