Not terribly behind, but def need to recruit well. This current class has only lost one recruit, and has a top tier QB which really helps. Secondary and WR corps are good. Have a really strong RB. We need major depth on offensive line, DT needs major improvement but DE is solid. LB is just...a nightmare.

I hope Harris comes back and gets a sixth year. NCAA should clear it since he didn't play a down this fall. Will bring in a very good safety at least.

We will need a year to retool for sure though.

We have been a shell of a program for 7 years now. No excuses. Is what it is. Just pointing out bragging about 17-16 to prove some validity of Ed O..is idiotic. Mac got fired for being bad mid season. He had 27 players out for the game vs LSU. We were a bit..hampered.

I'd stick to using the Auburn game as a bragging point. Considering Missouri just beat UF by like 40..beating us by one isn't going to help your Ed O is elite tries.

Ain't nobody bragging about beating up on UF but LSU did start the decline. I think Had UF beat LSU things might have gone different for UF this season. No they wouldnt have beat UGA but i dont think they lose to Mizz, Texas a&M. I think UF's problem is that they want the up and coming coach but they believe that coach needs to be urban Meyer. Hell everybody wants that! but for everyone of those there are 6 derek dooley's, will muschamps and JIm Mac's. I dont blame UF for trying to get kelly but he if they miss on him they are back to a younger coach much like they have hired in the past 10 year. I'm not sold on kelly either because everybody is running that offense now. Maybe he can develop Qb's though because like LSU UF has not done a good job at that in a long while.

The real break was honestly Michigan. Jim was never the same from that point forward. He looked miserable because he saw he just didn't have an elite team yet again.

I'm glad you beat us though..really. I wanted him gone and it's so nice to be looking for a new coach, especially with every rumor now leading towards Chip Kelly just working out small details. It's never fun losing. Especially when I drove three hours to see it...but I'll take loses if it leads to the Blur offense in Gainesville.

Muschamp? Zook? The guy you fired just won back-to-back East titles. Muschamp took a juggernaut program and lost to Georgia Southern en route to a 4-8 season. Zook took a juggernaut and never won more than 8 games in a season. I know it's the trendy thing to make hot takes and call things the best or worst ever, but please stop being so dramatic.

If it ends up being a "him or me" situation between spurrier and chip, I'd bet big money that UF tells the old ball coach to shut the f#ck up
