So the correct poster to @. I'm not saying he can't have an opinion. That's a very UGA football fan/Cobb Dawg tactic. I'm really curious what gives, ie what keeps him engaged. Kinda like everyone wonders why some VOLS still post during football season. Is he just a basketball fan and an SEC fan, or is he a unicorn (genuine UGA basketball fan)? Is he stoked about landing the first 5* in program history? He seems to have a unique perspective, so what gives?

Maybe I'm the only one but the tone of writing came off very different to me.

I've always enjoyed basketball.... especially the NCAA Tournament. While I like College Football best overall, in my opinion the best sports days of the entire year are the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

So yes, if Georgia has a chance to make the Tournament... even better. But just because UGA is in a rebuilding year doesn't mean I'll abandon all interest in the sport.

Don't forget Alabama losing to A&M at home on a fluke 3 pointer at the buzzer after blowing a 14-point lead.

I feel just awful that the Cats are dragging down the entire conference.

I am guessing that what you mean is that if we had won all those games we'd still be dragging along Georgia's dead arse in basketball.

That is some serious self loathing there buddy.

Hey, we've been rebuilding in football for a decade, but I still follow. I know the feeling.
