remember correctly we were winning at halftime before JG gave you the game. Just count your lucky stars you won and hope you improve for Bama.
What a misleading halftime score it was.
Once the flukes, which led to 14 of your points, stopped, then domination began.

Agree on both... VOLS played decent for 30 minutes, but unfortunately it’s a 60 minute game. I do not think the VOLS suck, though. UGA is a title contender.
I don't even think the Vols played decently for 30 minutes.
You could say that the Vols DL played decently for 30 minutes.
Or that Guarantano threw 1 dime out of 60 minutes.
I dont mind crediting good play.
But it is misleading to expound on that success to the entire team.
Did the OL play good for 30 minutes?
Did the RBs play good for 30 minutes?
That 1 receiver played good. Slight push off on a much smaller DB who was in good position. And he stacked a damned good CB in Campbell to let that dime from Guarantano happen.
Tennessee has reason for optimism.
I'm sure the 5 star hearts on the offensive line can find success on other Saturdays. Pruitt is becoming a challenger to Florida much quicker than MuLLLen apologists (recruiting) want to think.

This is pure homerism and arrogance. Your errors were flukes while the other team’s errors were just due to your team being pure awesomeness? How insecure are you that you can’t even admit that you got outplayed in the first half?
UGA has an outstanding defense and a level of depth we simply don’t posses. The second half exposed that. UGA was expected to win and did.

Y’all are both about on the same level. They accept their spot. Do the vols?
Who honestly holds this opinion and shared it with you? Because that’s just too stupid not to be satire and you are not smart enough to comprehend the difference.

It's a Georgia fan. You already know how insecure they are.

You think a play action pass to a full back is a trick play. Whatever cred you thought you had before that statement is now gone until you move to your next message board.
I watched game 1. Vols didn’t look good, neither did the cocks. What about that first game gives YOU the false impression the vols are clearly superior to the cocks?

Hey, SC beat UGA the last time played, so.....

Just the facts.....
1. How did the vols score their first td? One of the bigger self inflicted mistakes I can recall.
Kirby screwing up by not punting on our 36 put y’all in position for the 2nd td. That was a gift.
That’s 14 of your 21 points. 2 gifts.
2. Uga had more than 2x as many yards as the vols had in first half.

You are contradicting yourself now. Looks like the difference goes well beyond QB.

Nope. You’re confusing posters. I’ve made one post ITT acknowledging that UGA has an outstanding defense and made plays. At the same time you can’t acknowledge that your opponent made plays as well and beat you in the first half. You write off your bad plays as flukes rather than give any credit to the other team.

Y'all did play well in the first half. Those 4th down stops were the sign of a good defense and good coaching. If JP can hold this class together, UT has a bright future.

Scores can be misleading, and the first half was a great example of that:
1. When you give up 300 yards in a half and only gain 150, you got worked.
2. That first vol td was a flukey as a fluke can get, and you know it.

I dont care about the semantics.
Do you equate the bad snap by Hill the same as the sack fumbles? Or INT?
Prior to the game, I called out Kirbys coaching flaw when an opponent presses and goes for it on fourth down. Kirby automatically counters and does it himself (2018 LSU, 2019 South Carolina both as evidence). I think Pruitt going for it on 4th and short is brilliant because it gets Kirby questioning if he can beat the opponent straight up when they are going to be pressing every issue.

I've seen a little too much of this even in typically non-homer podcasts. Classic fundamental attribution error...

I don't think there is any reason to say that Tennessee outplayed UGA in the first half.
Tennessee First half: 148 yards offense
UGA First half: 299 yards offense
Essentially, UGA played poorly and yet still outplayed UT in the first half, but also made more costly mistakes. On both of the passing TDs though, frick it. Tip your hat. JG made exceptional throws, great plays by the WR. One of those benefitted by Kirby getting too cute for his own good with a 4th and 1 attempt from our own 30... but one day maybe we'll learn how to convert short yardage plays with regularity.

A team can have a lead without outplaying the opponent. We literally just saw it happen.

UGAs defense is elite. Have to give them the credit. But your offense needs work. Most of your points came from the result of the field position you got from our turnovers. And you were still held to FGs or 4th down stops and a goal one stand.
I think against Bama you’re not going to hold them as in check as you did us. They have a better QB and better playmakers. You’ll also be put in more situations to make drives instead of getting the short field as often as you did against us.
Should be a good game. Will be the first real test of great offense vs great defense.

I look forward to Tennessee’s “we outplayed Georgia in the first half” banners
