I feel sorry for you and fans like you at OU. You guys have a great program and great fans but your conference absolutely sucks. A few dozen TCU, Tech, Baylor, Kansas etc... fans are pretty boring on a message board. We all get it and honestly I can understand why you guys want to hang out here.
It just means more in the SEC... just like the commercial says. OU fans deserve a much better conference situation.

OU deserves what they have.
They have by far the best program in the Big 12 and they roll over like lapdogs to let UT run the show.
Success takes balls. And OU allowed themselves to be neutered by UT. Now they'll rot in obscurity the shite heap mid-major New Big 12.

Agree with you but as usual... what the fans want is often different than the BOR and those in power want. As fans.. just fans... they didn’t have much say in anything. As fans they are stuck with a good program iin a shite conference with a bunch of schools living in mediocrity and low expectations as well as fan bases that don’t care.

Do you really think OU fans have any say about what conference they are in, tv contracts or even Texas share of revenue? A parallel is fans hating D coordinator Mike Stoops enough to want Bob gone. Then wanting Lincoln Riley put on notice when he failed to fire MS after the Rose Bowl.
In short, it will take thousands of season tickets not being renewed and donations bottoming out for any voices to be heard about conference. And yes, it is easy to get comfortable with dominating in a weaker conference in order to play in 3 of the last 4 CFP. But losing there is getting very old. HTH

Since you brought it up, however. I wish Lincoln had just said, "We need to improve on defense to win a playoff game" instead he said they won the last 3 quarters. That is youth and inexperience. I mean, it is fine for a fan to say that but a coach whose team took a whole quarter to calm down, should just admit that he didn't have them ready to play.

It’s funny that during the game ESPN played it off that OU did not offer JJ a scholly. Obviously not true (link). He was recruited late by both OU and Bama but held a grudge against his home state.

Edit for vice man-It’s all good. Not even upset about the game as we knew going in the offense would have to do the near impossible (score 50 on Bama) to win.
