You guys can just as easily beat Bama. You have them at home and with that running game, you can control the game. Hopefully your staff learned from this game. Zach Calzada beat them last year.

Don’t be a pussy.

Fair enough. I’m just not ready to start over again.
Neither am I, nor is any Texas fan. But time to understand that expectations will need to be drastically lowered until Sark is most-likely mercifully fired at the end of his 4th season.

Who does Texas go after or who do Texas fans want if Sark is done, heading into the SEC?

Easily beat Bama? Arkansas hasn't beaten them since 2006. Arkansas would need to win the turnover margin to have a chance. Instead the defense has committed zero turnovers in two games and the offense has turned the ball over four times in the last two games including a turnover on downs.

You have all these weaknesses and they keep appearing in these games against a team with better coaching and superior talent? Bama may seem vulnerable but they aren't near as vulnerable as Arkansas is and they aren't going to have off games each game of the year.

Here.

Started by scoring on 4 of 5 first half possessions. 3 consecutive series in the 2nd half, QB was 1 for 6 for 0 yards. 3 punts.

Tough loss in a game we should have easily won. Not like I haven’t seen in before.

Here

Didn’t lose to App State no reason to hide. Losing sucks but football season is so short and fun.

The last 4 times we lost our conf opener we went on to win conf. Like all teams with all new staff and inherited players there are growing pains.

How many teams will end conf play undefeated? Not many if any. Will a dumb thread like this be started every week?

Don't even want to think about it, but if that does come to fruition, I expect it to be another up-and-comer or well-regarded assistant from the NFL maybe.

I'm more concerned with how little Saturday hurt. Losing to a team like that, in the way they did, should be cause for alarm. But it's not like I didn't witness that exact same type of loss 4 times in 2021, or countless times in the decade prior.

Apathy is starting to set in, and people are already starting to countdown the days until basketball or baseball season. Can't say I blame them.

We are all still here. Unlike aggies after that App State beatdown.
