LSU is Bama's #3 rival IMO.
Damn seems like everytime Bama plays a team they are considered a rival UF,SC,UT,AU,LSU,aTm.....
When you're #1 I guess everybody's a rival.

hey talk about LSU so much more than Tennessee (especially on here)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's only on here, trust me. The fact that any thread pertaining to Bama immediately gets flamed to hell and back by LSU fans has a lot to do with it
Now what the hell would a Penn St fan know about this to be considered a source?...You have your own problems, deal with them first, and stop trying to start shite here...
nobody cares what you think..

First, genro is a bama fan. Second, do you really not know the difference between Penn and Penn State?

When it actually becomes a rivalry.

It will become a rivalry when LSU allows it to become a rivalry. until then you're just a bump in the road. LSU doesn't have or need rivalries like you other bitches.

Always been a tough rivalry but not that big (hard to be this big) until recently (last 10 years).

"Alabama" does, at least in the media guide and game programs.
Its the morons on this forum that won't admit it.

No, Florida is your rival. Apparently there's an Auburn rivalry. Ole Miss is on the rise and Texas A&M is a new, decent SEC opponent, so those two rivalries could be revived. LSU has rivals. Alabama isn't one of them. I agree with those who say the LSU game doesn't fit the definition of a rivalry. As someone earlier challenged, consider why Florida isn't considered a rivalry despite their SEC Championship clashes with Alabama. Tennessee is a traditional rivalry, but they've been dormant too long, so eventually that might lose its relevance like the Ole Miss/LSU game.

As of the end of the 2011 season, Alabama leads the series 46-25-5 overall. Are rivalries usually this lopsided?

sometimes. why?
but like i said. you're not our rival. we don't need cute little rivals to try to make a game seem more important than it really is. y'all have fun with that.

This...some people think a rivalry is something that you turn on and off. Just because the Bama/LSU game has been the game to watch as of recent history doesn't make it a rivalry. Bama/Auburn is a rivalry. Bama/Tennessee is a rivalry. Ohio State/Michigan is a rivalry. Bama/LSU....NO!!!!!
So no...we will not admit it because it's not true. Stop trying to change history with your living in the moment ideas!!

In the 90's and even here in the last few years we have had to face good Florida teams. They were never our rival. Why not? Answer that and you have your answer regarding LSU.
