He also drug his nutsack across Alabama’s entire team’s forehead in BDS, and danced around the field afterwards

I’m certain there will be a gay joke thrown out here soon if it hasn’t already happened

Some of the best recruits in the country are from Georgia. How many Heisman winners are from Georgia? How many played for UGA? Same with All-Americans? How about in other sports?

True, but you're not giving much credit to the AU defense for holding 'Bama to 3 points in the second half.

It's also funny that Auburn's lone national title is sandwiched between three Alabama championships in the record books.

For me it started during COVID + BLM + transfer portal + NIL, so gradually over the last 2 years. It would take a lot for me to totally give it up but my care level is significantly lower than it was before.

Winning would take care of that.

I really believe it caused CF fans to relook at their lives during the Fall. No more having your entire weekend tied to a game and it allowed people to pursue other things. Looking at games last year at every program and you saw some empty seat you never would see before. That was the result of 2020. The NFL is also experiencing the same issues.

Would any Bama fan do that?

No, because baseball is boring as hell. I could think of a lot better things to do than give it to a sport where they scratch their balls 80% of the game.

You mean when Saban losses and makes excuses for it. I’m just waiting for Saban to claim the pre season #1 team in the country again is “rebuilding”.

While college football is important at Auburn, what a 19 year young man does with a football does not control the lives or self-esteem of Auburn people. I do think Auburn folks gets the most enjoyment when Auburn defeats football factories like uat because it is important to prove that football is not that important. I feel sure the state of Alabama would be better off if uat shut down its football program. Maybe then uat zealots would care about an institution with academic concerns. Until that time, Auburn will continue to do the heavy lifting of feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, clothing the naked, protecting the vulnerable and healing the sick.

, I love my Tigers and root hard for them. But I’m past 60 and long ago quit obsessing about what 20 year olds do on a football field.

Hear this one a lot from the Aubs, but they will be first to scream War Eagle! At church on Sunday after a big win or have the tiger tail hanging out of their tailgate after some success.

Honestly, I don't care much about fb this season. Of course, I will still watch/attend most of the games but expectations are low. I am more interested in seeing our rivals fail this year.

At least you're honest.

Honestly, as a Bama sidewalker, I don't pay as much attention as I used to. Winning never gets old, but it doesn't mean as much as it did in 2009. I'm going to see Roger Waters Saturday and didn't even realize who we were playing until I looked it up today. I'll watch next week for sure, but don't mind waiting for the YouTube of this week's game.

Just because you pretend to enjoy sports no one really care about doesn't mean you're a "better" fan.

It means you're a pretentious prick.
