The 8-5 Auburn or 10-3 Kentucky teams from the 2018 season had a pulse as described by the OP, but the retort would be that those teams sucked because VOLS were among their losses

I'll take the bait. What a stupid take. We've owned the East for 3 years, went to the playoffs and won, and were a chin hair from a NC. We're highly accomplished except in the minds of people who think a NC is the only thing that matters, and if you're that person, I feel sorry for you.

It’s going to be cot damn glorious when they finally realize they have Richt 2.0 and Pruitt challenges him to fisticuffs post-game at midfield just to punk Kirb’s moarrrrr.

Every freakin’ year this is what we have to listen to from Vol fans headed into the game... then if they lose (122-26 in the last three years) they all start saying ‘Oh, well, we aren’t there yet but we are getting better! We lost by a touchdown less this year than last year!’

I’d like to see the humbly root for their team and hold off on the shite talk until they actually are playing for something - like an SEC championship - because it’s just embarrassing for those Baby Boomer Vols out there who remember acting like they’ve been their before and who had expectations of winning seasons and being competitive in the SEC every year.

Well as far as Clemson is concerned... at least they were actually there playing in the game. I love how people give Clemson, or UGA, or even Oklahoma crap about losing a playoff game or the natty... seriously? Some major short man syndrome there... at least they were there to play for it!

I will make fun of every fricking team you just listed.

Nobody cares about you losing in the playoffs.

Absolutely nothing. Hey but let them
Go on thinking they're NC contenders.
The meltdown on Volnation will be
Epic when they lose 3-4 games again.

You know fan is short for fanatic right? You don’t get to dictate the behavior of other fanbases just because you think you’re better than everyone else. Uga fans on this board think they are God’s gift to football.

Urban dictionary: Clemsoning
1. The act of failing miserably on a grand athletic stage, or when the stakes are high. 2. Record-setting failure, usually reserved for college football.

And what did they have to show for it?

Embarrassment.
