Since we may not contract, Add four more so we can break down to two 10-team leagues.
Get the original band back together and allow the newbie division tk look like,
Texas
Clemson
FSU
Oklahoma
Arky
USCe
UNC
Ncsu
Mizzybilt
Texas AM

Outside of the ACC collapsing, I don't see the conference going above twenty teams, and with the rumored list of targets being UNC, UVA, and FSU, I would prefer to add Tulane back as the dance partner for FSU. That being said, I would be fine with some sort of combination (up to a cap of twenty-four universities) that includes: UVA, VA Tech, UNC, Duke, Clemson, GA Tech, West Virginia, FSU, Miami, Tulane, Rice, and Texas Tech.

I'm not for Miami coming but I am not sure that attendance is as big of a deal these days. I know it used to be a bigger portion but how much of total conference revenue is from gate revenue in 2024? The big money is media rights and merchandising these days. Miami seems to be real anomaly where their gate revenue doesn't really correlate to the other revenue sources.
But my guess is the SEC would be more concerned with it being an embarrassment when a TV camera pans through the stands and nobody is there.

It's not a conference with any more than the current number of teams. It becomes a league at that point.
They will struggle to get all the games played yearly that need to be at the current number. The scheduling will be better than it was with 14 teams, however 18 or more is unfeasible with only 8 or 9 conference games per year in football.

UNC wants Big 10 is what I've been told numerous times.
