After Auburn goes 7-5 and gives Gus a raise and extension, Fisher at aTm will look terrific.

Again, I've never understood the obsession people have with how much Jimbo is getting paid. $75 million to A&M isn't $75 million to most every other school. I'd be much more upset if A&M didn't spent a shite ton of money to get the best possible coach.

Showing commitment is probably the biggest factor for coaches making a change. If Jimbo does not work out, the next guy will jump at the opportunity because the indubitable commitment is there.
It's not my money, so I don't mind. Just get us a winner.

We play 5 top 10 teams. We have the most top heavy schedule, which makes it the hardest.

Jimbo is getting hammered on OL recruiting 2019-21 & is going to have very little to show for DL. QB is questionable til '21 @ best.
OU, TX & LSU are getting stacked... #4 in recruiting in your region (distant #4) doesn't fare well.
In other words, same as it ever was.

Noooo, but Coach O did hit 10 wins in his second full season with a difficult schedule.
So if Jimbo doesn't hit 10 wins this season, I think it's safe to say O > Jimbo. LSU is getting a much, much better ROI than aggy and it's not even debatable.
