Yes he does.

No he doesn't. What he has is a mandatory market adjustment provision in his contract
quote:

“for so long as necessary to determine the marketplace trends regarding head football coach compensation.” Furthermore, Saban’s contract states that the Crimson Tide will be required to increase Saban’s “total guaranteed annual compensation” if it becomes less than the average of either the three highest-paid SEC coaches or the five highest-paid FBS coaches.

No he does not.

you don't think Kirby has total control of his program? And what has Kirby asked for that he didn't get?

Impossible to compare it to Saban though as the administration trusts him more because of his winning record.

Saban was given this power from the moment he in the door at Alabama. He only had one championship at the time. We see that it works to hire the best and give them full control. We will do it again.

I’m not sure where you got this info but here is Saban’s current contract. $9,753,221 million
See the $1 at the end. Be better, be smarter.

Because we will give him the Saban deal. He’ll always get $1 more than the highest paid coach after he wins a championship, will have full control of the football program(no boosters to have to listen to) and he will get any facility improvements he asks for. No program is more committed to win than Bama. It’s easier to build dynasties here because we care more.

What, pray tell, would he have done by then to justify that kind of contract?

Do you always make up fake narratives?

UGA has spent 175 million in facility upgrades at Kirby's request since being hired.

Guess which team spends more money on recruiting than any other team? Here is a hint, it's not Bama.

Kirby is in control, Kirby gets what Kirby wants. If he somehow wins a title this year.....

He’ll have a championship by then. Plus, he runs it the same as Saban. Saban wasn’t given his contract and power because of number of championships, he only had one at the time. He was given it because of The Process. Kirby also has The Process and is a world class recruiter. Will he be as good at Saban? No. However, he will win multiple championships at Bama.

Here's his actual contract It's in there. Look at Article IV. That $1 more than the highest paid head coach was a provision in his LSU contract for winning a national title. He's never had that at Alabama.

Bama fans land the greatest coach of all time and somehow thinks it’s them that’s special.

Saban won a NC at a completely irrelevant LSU and built a program so strong Les Miles and Orgeron were able to sustain to for almost 2 decades and 2 NC and a Runner up (loss to fricking Saban)

Yeah Alabama is special and great and they care more.

Lucked arse backwards into Saban who saved you from being Michigan South

Saban’s deal is after a championship. Only one coach can win per year.

Kirby is the best recruiter in college football.

He may be the best recruiter but he can't evaluate offensive talent to save his life. That's left up to his offensive coaching staff.

That’s his contract from 2018 and it’s not the entire contract. After a championship Saban is always paid more than the highest paid coach. That’s why he got a raise last year.

Exactly. Plus they forget we’ve won championships with other coaches too.

Saban has gotten a raise each of the past 3 years.

You're making up the $1 provision. You won't be able to find any documentation to back up what you're saying is in there. Conversely, I can find plenty to back up his market adjustment provision because it's a fact.

The 2018 contract is available online because someone filed an FOIA request. You'll find here contract amendments from 2013-2018. None of them have any language regarding a "$1 more than the highest paid head coach" because that's not the case. Sorry

Highest paid coaches in college football

The $1 provision may no longer be in his contract but if it’s not it sure is strange that they gave it to him back in August. Here’s your link dumbass.

it never was But thank you for admitting you were wrong

showing me a link that he's the highest paid head coach is not showing me anything about a provision that guarantees he's the highest paid head coach by $1. You're really bad at this. It's ok to just admit you were mistaken.
