Poll Question:

When Georgia loses we know they will not handle it well. Who do they lash out and blame?

1) The Playoff system/committee? Unfair that they had a harder path than say, Texas? (Complete with the hypotheticals, "if we had Texas path....")

2) Modern College Football? It's stupid that we beat a team 2x in regular season and if we have one bad game at less than full strength we can be out (Bonus points for, "It's not fair!" melting)

3) The SEC. "It's not fair we have to play a championship game that is meaningless and risk injuries. Stupid Sankey?

3) The University of By God Texas. "We beat them 2x but they hurt our QB, etc."

Jesus once said, "What good is it to gain the whole world if you lose your soul?"

This sinner is asking Georgia fans, "What good is it to win in the regular season and win the SEC if you cripple yourself and because of it you lose in the playoffs when it matters?"

You're 0-2 VS them this year.

We've lost a couple of times this year and haven't lashed out at anyone.

We just buckled down, won the SEC and got the #2 seed in the playoff instead.

Not sure why you think we'd freak out now. If we lose in the playoff... we lose. shite happens. We simply wouldn't have been good enough.

But right now we're 4-0 against playoff teams this year and can still hope we end the season being 7-0 against playoff teams with a national title and SEC title.

I like the spot we're sitting in.

Have you noticed all the people talking about UGA's QB injury are not UGA fans?

Injuries happen in college football. UGA fans know this. Championship worthy teams just plug in the next man up. I haven't seen any UGA fans talking about the QB injury as a worry. It's just part of the game.

A few of us (including me) and a little worried about the punter injury though. No team really stacks talent at Punter. We've done that as much as anyone can, but it's still a bit scary. QB's fine. We have 3 other 4-star QB's. If we can't get one of them ready to play, that's on us.

When you lose, can you say all this again?

Just the way you said it. Just the same way?

Sure.

I said it last year when we lost to Bama.

We weren't good enough. It is what it is. I said it in 2019 when we lost to LSU in the SECCG (which cost us a playoff spot) in 2018 where we lost to Bama in the SECCG to miss a playoff, in 2017 when we lost to Bama in the national title game in OT and in 2012 when we lost to Bama in the SECCG that cost us a BCS championship game spot (and probably NC win as ND was garbage that year).

It's not like this is new for UGA. We've been in this spot a lot and won some and lost some. We're not going to freak out at a loss. shite happens.

I think Texas has the harder time, you see this is the worst UGA team in 4 years and yet it's one of Texas best

If Georgia and Texas make it to the championship game and Texas loses to Georgia for a third time in the same season, do they shut the program down?

No, I think they switch gears and talk UGA up as one of the greatest teams ever. They will basically say that since they only lost to UGA (three times) they're clearly the #2 team and would have been #1 any other season. They just ran into the UGA juggernaut.

Which is ridiculous of course. This isn't one of the better UGA teams in recent years. It's just all of college football is down so it still might be good enough to win a title.

The real question is, when UT loses to Oregon, who will you blame?
