Never change, Rant

The same thing is said about Drinkwitz! Arkansas fans are really onto him and saying he sucks and will be bad this year and so forth. I am telling you Drinkwitz is young and have only been a HC for 2+ years. Also he needs all of his players that he recruited on the field at the same time and that won't happened until 3rd or 4th year. He is also recruiting lights. That hadn't happened in a very long time. Plus he is still learning as a HC. Dan Mullen learned a lot over the years. Sam Pittman has been an OL a long time in the SEC and at Georgia. I do believe Drinkwitz will get his team to be competitive in year 3 and at year 4 will be a really good team.

I think it will depend on his recruiting. If he can field a good defense and his type of players to fit his offensive system he should be able to win enough games to last awhile.

He has proven he can be competitive everywhere he's been so give him a decent shot to do it on this level.

It's not like he's a chad morris high school type of coach.

Yep. I don't see him lasting very long in Starkville.

He's done better than I expected him to at recruiting. They were basically tied with us last year's class.

This year it's fallen off some, though, and they currently have zero 4* committed.

Not exactly, we had three before they committed. Not sure what happened...

Not soon because he is going to beat A&M tomorrow. In fact, I still can't figure out how he lost to Memphis State. That was a pure utter freak accident of nature. LSU was a different story. As LSU beat Moo State purely on talent alone.

Nonetheless, Jimbo and A&M don't have an offense. As Jimbo is not only an awful offensive coach, but he is also a piss poor head coach in general.

Meanwhile, A&M's fan base is the most delusional fan base in America.

Mike Leach with easy access to skilled RBs and elite WRs to run his offense will dominate for years to come.

My brother attended games at WSU the last seven years Leach was there. He said the west coast teams finally figured out how to beat his offense - three down lineman rushing. Guess what defensive formation LSU ran for most of the entire game - three down linemen.

Soon.

He was a colossally knee-jerk hire.

Nobody is going to win at Moo U anyway - now with Texas and OU coming in it's only going to harder for them

Yet they had more yards than LSU on the ground and in the air. Almost 500 yards of offense

Lost by 3 to a team with more talent

Won't happen. We can't keep shelling out money like that. And for what? To punish a coach after 3 seasons in college football's most competitive division?
