You lost to Troy, you are coming from a position of sucking and the guy that lost to Troy with all that amazing talent you have is still there. You just have big arse purple and gold glasses on, so you can’t see it. I have no illusions about what my program is right now and what Mullen has to do to get it to the next level (and neither does he). If you think what O is doing and has done since he’s been there is good enough, you have a much lower standard for your program than I do for mine. That’s fine though I don’t mind LSU being down, let O sell you on next year forever. Mullen hasn’t said next year one time since he’s been here, he has embraced expectations and understands what he is expected to do. All I see O doing is moving goalpost and hiring his buddies.

We don’t suck.
Florida sucks.
Let’s see how this season plays out.
BTW ...when I said next year, I meant this year.
I’m looking forward to it. We actually have a shot at winning the West.
We are not in the wait till three years from now mode.

Your optimism is noted, I have a feeling you won’t have the same optimism come November. You beat McElwain by 1 point last year with a much better roster and UF having there best two players on offense suspended along with 7 others. The fact you think LSU’s roster is head and shoulders better than UF’s right now is hilarious.

Not really. They have more talent.
UF definitely needs depth at LB and on the lines but I fully expect UF to outperform a lot of people's expectations next year and win 8 or 9 games

I am optimistic.
We are in year to year mode.
Apparently you are in wait till three years from now mode.

My, you LSU fans are scared of Mullen at Florida.

Are we? I don’t believe anyone in Gainesville is willing to just let Mullen ride for 3 years. We have some talent and he needs to upgrade it quickly. By the end of year 2 we expect to be one of the better teams in the country, and by year 3 we want a championship. Do you expect Orgeron to deliver you guys a Championship? Has he given you any reason to think he can? All I see you doing is talking in circles not really explaining why you think you are going to be good. Why are you optimistic? What exactly has O done to improve your program in any substantial way?

Not at all.
I actually think we are in similar situations.
I just happen to think we have better talent and better talent coming in next year.
No guarantee that Florida is going to have two top 5 classes in a row.
That’s what gator said they needed.
On the other hand...Florida still has the easiest path to the SEC championship.
They just have to beat Georgia.

Mullen isn't an elite recruiter but I see no reason to believe O is either

Mullen is a far superior coach to O. Surely you know this.

Anyway....I’m pulling for Loyola.
Don’t think most Tiger fans are happy or sold on Coach O. I’m just willing to see what he does this season.
Gatorbait you are obviously knowledgeable (way more than me) so I look forward to future conversations.

We are scared of everybody right now. Except Moo St, even on the random decade they win one.

As an LSU fan, you know you shouldn’t talk sh!+ to other fans concerning their head coach. We have Ed Orgeron, they have Mullen. I am not confident that Florida will be successful in Mullen’s first year, but I am confident that Mullen will have Florida competing with Georgia for the east within two years. You can take that to the bank.

Thank you....I’ll take that to the bank.
