Well if that’s the standard, then I guess you’re right he sucks.

He'll do well at UF obviously. It is just a matter of how patient y'all will be. Mullen got State where we're at because of an extremely patient fanbase with pretty low expectations after Croom. He'd be out the door in 4 years at UF if they haven't won 10+ consistently a few times by then, I'd think.

Next three years will be interesting for LSU and Florida.
I think LSU has the talent to compete as long as we continue to have good recruiting classes.
All about coaching for us.
Florida needs talent and coaching is questionable.
The road to the final 4 will be extremely difficult for both programs.

What Mullen will do is build hatred between Florida and their rivals. He will do whatever he can to turn in his opponents. Even going so far as manufacturing bullshite in order to do it. Just look at his involvement with Auburn and Ole Miss....where there is smoke there is fire is what I am saying. So the East better be ready.

Yep. He's just as slimy too

We will see...
I think LSU has beaten Mullen before.
Worst case scenario for LSU is we hire a new coach in two years with talent.
Worst case scenario for Florida is you can suck for the next five years if Mullen and recruiting doesn’t pan out.
And hope Tennessee doesn’t finally turn it around.

I would be much more worried about Miles at LSU. LSU isn’t LSU with the man you have in charge now, that’s just the truth. You are coming off your worst recruiting class in years, I’m not sure why you are so sure your talent will continue to be there. I mean look at your two best positions lately RB and CB are a shell of what your roster looked like under Miles.

You think right he’s got to average 10 wins and win a SEC championship or this fan base will turn on him.

If Dan can win at Miss Mistake then he will do very well at Florida.

Correlation does not imply causation, he still has to get it done. There are no sure things in this conference.

Y couldn't boom win at Florida but can at USC?

Probably because he found a QB, but in reality he won 11 games at UF. You think he will ever do that at South Carolina?

You do realize Mullen out recruited O last year like before he even coached a game right? I’m not sure where you are getting this O is recruiting at an Elite level at? Shouldn’t O have out recruited Mullen last year If he was going to leave you with so much talent? I mean he did take a kicker for one year instead of a solid four year player in Goodrich. You are burying your head in the sand imo.

I liked our class this year.
We did whiff at CB.
We loaded up on both OL and DL...more to come next year along with the skilled positions.
Talent is not a concern.
It’s all about coaching for us.
We will see how it goes this year.
With the right coach, talent is not an issue at LSU.
Hell, with the wrong coach talent is not an issue.

Please list your cornerback depth chart and your running back depth chart. That’s like saying we don’t have a QB problem. Both of those positions are going to be drastic drop offs for you guys this year even if everyone stays healthy. You’re offensive line is also kind of underwhelming. You do have some talent in the front 7 but how many proven playmakers do you have there that were recruited by HC Ed and not HC Miles.

Does it not bother you how often you are saying next year? Is it always going to be next year?
Posted on 3/24/18 at 3:04 pm to GatorBait24
It’s always next year for every program.
For you it’s 3 years from now....maybe.
Yes it’s next year, but LSU is not coming from a position of sucking.
We aren’t where we want to be yet, but we aren’t sucking either.
Your program is in a very precarious situation if Mullen doesn’t turn it around in the next 2 years.
I’m hoping he does.
I’m hoping Tennessee does also.
The SEC is better off with a good Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.
