Youre right. I shite on my own stance.

Make the killshot quick.

No need. Like I said...I still think Fournette has tons of talent. people get injured in the NFL. It happens, especially at running back. they are both excellent backs. Like I said....I hate these kinds of threads mainly because there are so many variables, there is no way to say which is better.

Some of my all time favorite LSU players! Add Bert Jones, George Rice and Tommy Casanova to that group.

LSU has always had fine players come through the program.

I am nto familiar with Van Buren. I guess I need to look him up and get familiar with him.

If i only had a nickle for every time I was wrong!

Thanks for being man enough to admit it instead of continuing to insist otherwise. It is a rare character trait these days...especially around here.

I think that Chubb, Michel, Fournette, and Henry are all good, but Gurley and Kamara are in a league of their own and put all the others to shame.

I thought the others would be good, but Kamara is the one I was surprised by. he has really blossomed as a pro.

Fournette, like most great college players, are at the mercy of their NFL teams worth. If I'm not mistaken, most RB's drafted later 1st round or even later rounds, have decent success because they're chances increase 10-fold after landing within good NFL organization. Plus, it helps to play on team with great QB play, this takes a bunch of pressure off the running game.

Now if you're unlucky like Fournette, Treat Richardson, and some others RB's. You're starting on a weak foundation after crappy NFL organization drafts you high in 1st round. What NFL organization drafts player matters a whole bunch, and more than not, it's best to fall late 1st round so a decent football team drafts you.

Can most LSU fans acknowledge that he's at the very least been overrated?

This was an every week, 10 page argument, that’s why. Then it Guice and Chubb.

Just still having fun with it. I don’t see the problem.

^^^This- those daily debates were a lot of fun. Especially when proven right!
