When do we start measuring Fournette on performance instead of potential?

The $28 Mil Jax spent on him would only make it half as bad a deal as Gus for $49 Mill...

I think the real question should be: When do we stop caring, now that he's not in College anymore and Gurley is clearly the better player

Being a jax jags fan. Really been disappointed with him but he has the same kind of line play here in jax as he had at LSU. None.

Why is this so important to you? As an LSU fan it is not that important to me. Time will tell this story.

I was at the game. Titans fan, but wasnt opposed to Fournette having a good game (Also have him in fantasy). If you watched the game, Fournette had zero help. His QB was Cody frickin' Kessler, and the Oline was getting blown up. Titans have a top 5 NFL D so I'm not surprised at all we kept them bottled up. The holes Henry had to run through (Yay) and the holes Fournette was running through were night and day. Jacksonville is in dire need of QB.

We're not. We are just supposed to concede that injuries, offensive line/gameplan are the only reason..

When do UGA fans start to realize to let this GO? Both are damn good and will have fine careers....time to move on

And he still has more yards than Fournette.

I hate these type threads, but I don't think you helped your argument here.

For some reason a lot of Georgia fans still seem to be upset about it. I like to follow some players a little, but not to that degree. I tend to let them go after college. I mean, I hope they do well and might check in on some favorites, but I don't go back and compare.

This was an every week, 10 page argument, that’s why. Then it Guice and Chubb.

Just still having fun with it. I don’t see the problem.

If it was reversed LSU fans would be doing the same

Because LF splits carries in a loaded backfield.

No. because Fournette stays injured. there is a difference.

Apparently you don't. Dude, I have him on one of my fantasy teams. He has been injured a good portion of the year. but you can just act like you know more if you want to.
And it was one of you that said Chubb was just now getting touches in a talentless backfield. You are wrong all the way around.

Check their stats. Fournette has played in 6 games and started 6 games. Chubb has played in 12 games and started in 5 games.

Fournette has always been an injury-prone back whose "leadership" and "humility" have always been incredibly overstated. Not surprise he's not the NFL star everyone thought he would be.

In the pantheon of rating backs during their time at LSU, in my opinion, he's well behind Billy Cannon, Jerry Stovall, Steve Van Buren, Charles Alexander, Dalton Hilliard and Kevin Faulk.

Of course, Van Buren was really a better player in the pros because he was misued by Bernie Moore as a blocking back until his senior season. Because no one does coaching malpractice like LSU.
