Wow those are major differences right there.

Now....I wonder what those stats would look like if there was no UAT?

Oh and you left off undefeated seasons for some reason. You know the thing that actually judges how good of a season you had.

This cracks me up when I see this on here. People think LSU was nothing before the 2000's which is absolutely rediculous .

Arky has not taken Auburn's spot. Period. This writer doesn't know what he's talking about. A BCS title, 2 years ago, trumps anything Arky has done, ever, in the sec. The writer is an Idiot.

Let's see one of those you won with 1 loss, hell one of them you backdoored your way in with 2 losses. Last year I wouldn't even consider yourself in that championship game. Did y'all ever show up?

Yeah a SEC title, the only title you don't win by being voted into, is nothing.

Yet we still got in. You go undefeated in '04 and can't get in. LSU is considered with more respect by the national public than Auburn. A fact is a fact.

The sec rant, which was the best sec board around, has gone to total shite. There is never a rational convo anymore.

FIFY

Where did he get those? first one right off the bat, I noticed

18-13-1

Although they still held the lead then, I believe it was 15-18-1, and checked total wins and was wrong as well

Do you have down syndrome?

You are actually comparing a season where three BCS teams went undefeated with a season where a perfect storm of upsets got a two loss team in...really?

Or it COULD of just been the fact that there were 3 undefeated BCS schools with a shitty system that only allows 2 to play. How many other undefeated, oops excuse me LSU wasn't undefeated so other isn't the right word, how many undefeated BCS teams were there in the two years LSU "won" the BCS championship. I mean I know you split one with USC. But of course they weren't undefeated either.

It's funny how close the numbers are, but also funny how Auburn isn't better at any one of those stats. With the two teams being so close, you'd think Auburn would be better than LSU at least at something.

But no, they're not. Nothing.

And remember those numbers were all BEFORE Saban got to LSU.

People think LSU was nothing before Saban, but they were basically the third best team in the league behind Alabama and Tennessee.

Way better for LSU.

Auburn and LSU have played Alabama about the same number of games with Auburn's win% vs the Tide much better than LSU's. If you took records vs Bama out of the mix, LSU's win% would jump higher than AU's.

LOL really? You don't think we would have been a better program if we were the state school? You do realize that we are in a state where about 70% of the population supports the state school of UAT. We split recruits with them, money, fans, support and we are STILL on par with your school. Meanwhile you battle the likes of Tulane, La. Monroe, La. Tech, and don't even have a freaking rival.

Its also funny how LSU fans recognize these closeness and yet continue to place themselves on some plateau high above Auburn over what...a dozen wins, one more title, a few more SECC.

And when their hypocrisy is given, they bust out the fish pics.

Cringe at the thought of considering Auburn an equal...both loathing the Turds in the middle.

It used to be so easy to cheer for you guys.

STASSEN. And LSU Wiki and Auburn Wiki for bowl games.

Exactly.

Just remember: LSU was better than Auburn before Nick Saban got to LSU.

It has never been. Most LSU fans I know are terrible to deal with. Few are actually fun to watch games with.

You were wrong, what year did you use as a cut off. you were right on some

quote:

Head to head: LSU 18-15-1 vs Auburn.
SEC titles: LSU 7, Auburn 5
Total wins: LSU 588, Auburn 584
Win %: LSU 62.3, Auburn 61.7
SEC win%: LSU 53.6, Auburn 51.2
Bowl games: LSU 31, Auburn 26
Bowl wins: LSU 15, Auburn 14

Never said LSU was worse by the way, it was in response to a dumbass who suggested there was no comparison between the two. also said auburn had always been a bad program. was meant to point out the similarities
