It is always boomers who want the world to revolve around them. They don't care that they have twice caused the worst economies in history. They are safe and they received their free college and nice social security, who cares about the future right?

There’s a considerable amount of uncomfortable truth in this post. It’s not the whole picture obviously and it’s difficult to generalize an entire generation but your post is not without merit

It is called ethnic nepotism. It is the same reason Heather Dinitch is an ESPN "analyst." In any sane world, Tony Barnhart would be hosting a show instead of Finebaum.

As one who can't stand him,primarily because of his love bias for Saban & bama, I am curious as to how he sold Hollywood on the premise of making a sitcom from his show. That's scary.

Paul has always been a political moderate his entire professional career and I’ve been reading Finebaum’s articles and listening to his show since 1982 when I was 7 years old. He’s not a moderate anymore though but if he wants to keep his current job he has to be woke y’all know this OP.

Don't think I disagree with what you are agreeing with, but I only read the last bit of the past 2 pages.
I don't know what you mean about causing the worst economies in history twice, as there is no way in the world that can be true. And I also doubt very many of them got "free college" either, that is more of a modern day thing.
And when it comes to social security, those people spent a lifetime of paying into it and most of them will never get back as much as they put into it. Especially when you consider inflation, that it's taxed now and all that.
So I think your characterization of them is quite a bit off.

Yep nothing but a Troll. Always thought it was funny that 8-10 of the regular shite stirring callers can get through to his show everyday when callers that actually want to talk sports can't get in and if they do Paul cuts them off mid sentence to go to a commercial. He never cuts off the loud mouth daily calling shits.

His wife is a doctor of internal medicine and such he probably has a better grasp on what’s really happening than most on this board do. I think he is a complete moron when it comes to sports in general but he does get people. He was very optimistic about it in late May but after seeing all the morons run around after things opened back up and the virus spiked like crazy he probably realizes with different schools and States the chances of having a college football season is quickly slipping away.
The Ivey league doesn’t have much of a athletic program but don’t think that every president of every college and university isn’t watching what they did and aren’t going to follow suite at some point. It’s not a good look for universities to make football players attend while 50 % of students can learn online. They are biding their time in hopes for a miracle and will probably cancel everything at the last minute.
From that point forward college sports and university life will change forever. Many small FBS schools will loose sport programs and several large P5 schools will drop football as well. The finacial tower that college sports existed is fast coming apart. Title 9 will be affected as well.
Companies are already beginning to comb Technical colleges and are restarting apprenticeship programs because the University system failed so miserably in preparing young people for the workforce. The Universities and Financial institutions made out like bandits but the students and parents We’re lied to and talked into worthless degrees and suffered from high tuition and student loan debt (1.4 trillion to date). The Universities are scared and are afraid of seeing the money machine come apart. This was going to happen sooner or later it’s just COVID brought all the things wrong with the University system screaming to the forefront much more quickly.

Finebaum is talented at sucking up to anyone who can help him get ahead. He has a great memory with a primary interest in football politics. Paul's doesn't have much actual football knowledge but he is a good interviewer. I DVR the show and just jump straight to the interviews that interest me. I occasionally enjoy watching Finebaum make fun of idiots.

There is not another media person in dislike more than Paul Finebaum. He has a show dedicated to something that I love with a passion(SEC sports) and I still don’t listen. He is truly insufferable.
