Will this stop the committee bending over backwards to let Ohio State in year after year, either by ignoring a conference title and head-to-head matchup or a 31 point loss to an unranked team? Bama would at least give them a game.
The LSU folks on here think Bama gets favoritism, but it's nothing compared to the slurping the Yankee media gives OSU and ND.

Spot on. Seems everyone does everything in their power to ensure Ohio State can do whatever they want, and still get the benefit of the doubt.
Not win your conference? Come on down to the playoff!

Does this mean I think Alabama actually deserves it? No. I'm not sure we do. But I sure as hell don't think OSU does.

Bama is better than OSU since Barrett is a poor mans Jalen, but two SEC teams, Bama fatigue and not winning their conference will keep Bama out imo

Ohio State WON THEIR CONFERENCE. all of the teams in that conference had their chance. it doesn't matter that you think they aren't worthy. why in hell should bama be selected? Wisconsin is just as worthy as Bama and their are other teams that are as well. hell, AUBURN IS MORE WORTHY.

We wouldn’t be having this argument if the committee didn’t say last year that conference championships aren’t that important.

Again, it just seems to be bending the narrative to fit whatever works for Ohio State.
The hate most of the SEC fans have for Alabama clouds their adjustment on what gets done, favorably, toward OSU.

Bama fans struggling to understand that Ohio State played a hell of a schedule last season...
And that Bama got beat by the only team they played in the top 15.
