They're shouldn't be any permanent opponents. Or just 1. Let everyone play everyone!

The Iron Bowl and the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry are two major reasons for permanent opponents. And here we have an Auburn fan saying this

Disagree strongly. 9 SEC games comprised of 3 perms + 6 rotating is the best way to keep traditions and have everyone play each other.

That’s what I think they are going to do

Move Bama and Auburn to East

MU to West

Keep and 8 game schedule. That’s what most of the schools will vote for.

If this is true, the only original ten members in the "western" division would be LSU, Ole Miss, and State. We'd be two different conferences at that point.

Let's blow this thing up and start back over again.

Considering who your 2 main opponents are and what they've been able to accomplish in the last decade, I can't say I wouldn't feel the exact same way about the situation if I were an AU fan.

It's like Auburn can't fricking catch a break.

But that's the thing: Auburn wants to play Georgia and Bama every year.

History shows these things are cyclical. Any Auburn fan who doesn’t want to play Georgia every year needs to go find another team to root for.
