Moron, the mathematical possibility of that happening is almost impossible with a 9 game schedule and we play everyone in the conference every other year.
Also, if we have two divisions in a conference of 16 teams, we will rarely play anyone in the other division. Why have a conference to begin with?
I am fascinated every day by just how stupid LSU fans are. It truly amazes me.
I mean that's probably gonna happen eventually. B10 and SEC 20 teams each with 10 team divisions.

Dumbass, if Alabama and Texas finish undefeated, like in your scenario, they will play each other in the SEC Championship game.
I honestly can’t with how stupid you are. I honestly can’t.

They're supposed to vote in Destin at the end of the month
I'm guessing they make the 3 permanent opponent announcement at Media Days for even more attention.

After the meetings in destin and nothing has been finalized about anything. There is much disagreement between a lot of ADs and presidents. I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t get done in may.

Personally, I think not having divisions is a mistake. There are bound to be multiple teams each season who’ll have a valid argument to make it to the championship based on win/loss record.
How is that any different than now? Bama had a pretty valid argument to play for the sec in 2011 but didn't. And there are dozens of other examples

Yea because UGA fans are nothing but scholars

You pathetic stupid shite stain. I posted…

Just wait a couple years when someone like Alabama or Texas end the season undefeated and you have three teams Georgia, Ole Miss, or Tennessee or whoever all finish with the same record and a valid argument for going to Atlanta as the other team and Georgia is left out. You’ll be pitching a slobbering hissy fit whining about how it’s “unfair”like the feeble minded little bitch you are.
Let me repeat the important part. Perhaps you should go find someone with the reading comprehension skills beyond that of a 1st grader with a learning disability. I said…

You call me stupid but you’re the one too stupid to know the difference between the words “or” and “and.”
You are one stupid motherfricker.

At least we are able to grasp the details of the pretty straightforward new format, and don’t ask stupid question after stupid question about it.

Bitch, you can’t even grasp the difference between simple words like “or” and “and.”

What a weird arse scenario then. Still the mathematical possible of that happening in the new system is almost zero. And if it did happen, there would be some method of tie breaking to determine who the second team to play in the SECCG is.
In your original post, how could we have three permanent teams and also divisions. That’s refrickingtarded.

And you want to keep divisions and play everyone in the conference even less?

The H2H in division play was the tie-breaker. Now with the unkown of common opponents, ...

Say 3 schools conf. record is 7-2.
A/B have 2 common opponents.
A/C have 1 common opponent.
B/C have 0 common opponents.
How would that be broken?

it’s impossible to have zero common opponents. Let’s consider the two teams haven’t played each other. There are 14 other teams in the conference, with each playing 9. At a minimum. They would have 4 common opponents.

Wut?
Please explain to me how 7-1 Alabama had any kind of a "valid argument" to play for the SEC in 2011 over 8-0 LSU who had beaten Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
(I'll refrain from the, "OMG!!1! You Georgia fans are the dumbest evah!!!11!!")

Personally I think having 4 divisions (pods are just divisions) makes better sense from branding perspective than the 3 perm
I know we are well past that but I wonder if there is a fuss in Destin if they go back to the drawing board.
