I think those that work hard and achieve success, like Saban should be honored. Bama will always be successful so deal with it! RTR!

I have a better idea. The AP or Coaches Poll should name their trophy after him ala Lombardi Trophy. Just call it the Saban trophy

The AP trophy is already named after Coach Bryant.

Why not give him his own church where all you could all go & worship openly at his holiness? FWIW: no, he can not walk on water, as evidenced when he fell off the dock at his summer home & almost drowned. Thanks only to an LSU booster that he did not. If only one could go back in time !.........sarcasm

The Saban's regularly attend the Catholic church on campus, and have been instrumental in the multi-million dollar fund raising efforts for the new sancutary for the congregation. The former sanctuary will be re-purposed into a student facility and it will be named for the Saban's. I bet the Saban's would much rather be "honored" for their work with their church than for their work with the football team.

Saban already has a statue on campus for his achievements, that's enough IMO.

Not hardly.
He needs more.
There are Denny Chimes and Bryant-Denny stadium, right? You think Denny is greater than Saban? How many games did Denny coach in? How many National Championships(real or imaginary) did he win? He gets two monuments and Saban gets only one? How fair is that? How many things are named after Bryant? A damn sight more than one.
It's time for you Yellow Hammers to get busy and name something else after him or he's gonna go to Cleveland or someplace.

Y'all should name something after the refs because without them y'all have nothing.

I know. This is the Crimson Tide we are talking about. Who care about academics? It's Championships that count (no matter how you count them)not English professors and people like that.
This guy never coached a game in is life and he gets 2 monuments and Saban only as one? You have to admit that situation is grossly unfair.

He was our first president that really pushed athletics. He was very involved with our teams and realized the impact of a successful athletics program could have on increasing enrollment.

I vote to rename the entire school.

The UNIVERSITY OF NICK SABAN
Tuscaloosa, AL

The man deserves it. Greatest head coach of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Close but you are putting the University first, which would indicate to some that acadenmics is primary there.

How about Nick Saban University? The true emphasis would then be on football as it should be. Acadenics would assume it's proper place.

Get outta here with this bull shite. Saban is great, but Bama had 3 titles in my lifetime BEFORE he got here and I'm in my early 30s. Fine before home, fine with him, an fine after him (when he leaves in a few years).

How did LSU get into this conversation? Are you that insecure?

Ok I'll see your LSU and raise you one Vandy.
You do know who Vandy is don't you?
