Alabama signed Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy, and Mike Marrow that year at running back. Although, I really don't see your point. That was the season Chizik was hired late and he had to throw together a staff and recruiting class in a short amount of time.

Just wondering who Bama fans were going to come in here and fap to. Didn't really have a point.

He went for over 100 yards in his first two games as a freshman, which is something that had never happened at Auburn if I recall correctly. Damn you people don't know WTF you're talking about when you get in Auburn threads. Barring injury he might have had 1,000 his first year.

I think he was just referring to how every thread turns into an Auburn-bama dick measuring contest.

He was helped a great deal by Cam's one year and Dyer being there.

Players usually benefit from each other, do they not?

They sure do. Trent was helped a great deal by having a strong offensive line...

But if you can't see what I am getting at, we'll just move along.

I have an idea, but I don't really care to know so let's just move along and get back on topic.

Ok.

did anyone think he would be able to put up these kinds of numbers in an Auburn uniform?

Nope, because I couldn't envision him sharing a backfield with Cam and Dyer.

Im really trying to grab this concept. Does he benefit from Cam and Dyer being good or is he hurt because he has to share carries?

If someone could explain that, I would be thankful.

Teams had to crowd the line to account for those two, so the Jet Sweep champ got his.

His speed burned LSU in 2010, but when I hear Onterio McCalebb's name this is what comes to mind. LINK

If this concept is accurate then wouldn't it make all of Alabama's players overrated?

Newton, Dyer, and McCalebb were hardly ever on the field at the same time...

What were his stats in the Chick-fil-a bowl last year?

By the time he leaves Auburn he should be top 10 in rushing which is pretty crazy.

So really the best players in the country are the ones that put up good numbers on shitty teams.
